Gold Derby is serving up Big Brother 28 spoilers all summer long. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Icons grab a life vest!
Hours after La Trice “Lala” Verrett was evicted from the Big Brother house, Barrett Pfeiffer won his first Head of Household competition of the summer. The Texas Jumbotron engineer has been secretly salivating over the idea of putting up the three reality TV icons — Angela Murray, Dee Valladares, and Rick Devens — who he’d been working with all season. Well, he took the shot.
Prior to the ceremony, Barrett had hinted to Drew Campbell that their Crossover alliance was about to crumble, but Drew still thought the primary target was Yash Patel. Barrett, well aware he’d have to make a big move if he wants to claim the $750,000 prize at the end of this, had other plans. He threw Angela, Dee, and Devens on the block and is ready to draw a line in the sand.
Iconic tension
Realizing they’re finally going to have to eat one of their own, the three reality TV icons seem to finally turning on each other — or at least showing cracks in their once unshakable alliance.
Dee warned Devens to “open your eyes” to the possibility that Barrett and Drew could be playing him. Fed up, Devens shot back, “Shut up, Dee. Stop f—ing talking to me like I’m a f—ing idiot. It’s really pissing me off!” Dee, knowing when to back down, quickly laughed it off, but Devens frustration was real.
Here’s a quick recap of all of the important milestones so far on BB28:
