Apple TV is giving baseball fans plenty to watch as the 2026 MLB regular season heads into its final stretch.
Apple and Major League Baseball have announced the September schedule for Friday Night Baseball, the weekly doubleheader that streams exclusively on Apple TV. The lineup includes several notable matchups, including the Phillies taking on the Mets and the Giants visiting the Dodgers.
The September schedule starts with a pair of games on September 4 and continues through September 18. Apple is also kicking off its new Apple Immersive version of Friday Night Baseball with the August 28 Red Sox-Yankees game. For the first time, baseball fans will get to watch Friday Night Baseball live in Apple Immersive on Apple Vision Pro, with unique angles and a closer look at the game.

Apple says the immersive broadcasts use 3D video captured in 8K with a 180-degree field of view. The experience also includes dedicated commentary, replays, and statistics designed specifically for the Vision Pro. This is a notable expansion for Apple’s MLB coverage because viewers with a Vision Pro will get something different from simply watching the regular Friday Night Baseball broadcast on a TV.
Apple Vision Pro users with an Apple TV subscription in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK, and the U.S. can stream the games live directly through the Apple TV app.
Friday Night Baseball games are not subject to local broadcast restrictions, so cord cutters can stream live on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV and compatible devices.
New subscribers can currently get a seven-day free trial, and enjoy an Apple TV subscription for only $12.99 per month. Eligible customers who purchase and activate a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac can receive three months of Apple TV for free for a limited time.
With the regular season entering its final weeks, several of these games could also become much more meaningful depending on how the playoff races develop. For fans looking for nationally available MLB games without a traditional pay-TV package, Apple has some major action lined up on Friday nights.
