The world of Pluribus may be grim, but behind the scenes, Rhea Seehorn and company are clearly having plenty of fun.
In the aftermath of the freshman drama’s 18 Emmy nominations, Apple TV has released a hilarious blooper reel from its first season. The 90-second video kicks off with Seehorn (Carol Sturka) struggling to unlock her handcuffs. “Son of a bitch — sorry!” the actress says while cracking up.
Later, Seehorn gets foam on her nose and upper lip and kindly asks someone off-camera, “Is it on my face?” And she breaks down laughing when she fails to open a Gatorade bottle. “Nope,” she says defeatedly.
Pluribus marks Seehorn’s first lead Emmy nomination after previously being recognized in supporting for Better Call Saul and in short-form for Cooper’s Bar. She already took home the Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards for playing Carol, a misanthropic fantasy author who somehow survives a worldwide happiness virus.

Much of the Pluribus cast is showcased in the blooper montage, including supporting actress Karolina Wydra (Zosia), who practices vocal warm-up exercises; supporting actor Carlos-Manuel Vesga (Manousos), who falls down after escaping a spiny chunga palm; guest actress Miriam Shor (Helen), who pretends to have a sophisticated accent; and guest actor Samba Schutte (Diabaté), whose plate of food is mysteriously missing.
Seehorn, Wydra, Vesga, and Shor are all nominated for acting Emmys, as is guest star Jeff Hiller. Pluribus showrunner Vince Gilligan is up for three bids as a producer, director, and writer. The show’s below-the-line nods are for casting, cinematography, main title theme music, music composition, music supervision, picture editing (x3), production design, and sound mixing.
Voting for the Emmy winners takes place Aug. 17–26.
