Rory McIlroy just made golf history — again. But honestly? His mom might have stolen the show. The 36-year-old won his second straight green jacket at the 2026 Masters Tournament on Sunday, April 13, beating Scottie Scheffler by one shot. That alone is a massive deal. He’s now just the fourth golfer ever to win back-to-back Masters, joining Jack Nicklaus (1965–1966), Nick Faldo (1989–1990) and Tiger Woods (2001–2002). But it’s the family story behind this win that has the internet in its feelings. During the final round, eagle-eyed fans spotted something special sitting next to Rory McIlroy’s mom, Rosie McIlroy.…
Studiocanal, Europe’s largest independent film studio, hit Vegas today with director Danny Boyle and the opening scene of his new film Ink, the story of British tabloid The Sun. It teased a next Paddington film and announced a reboot of John Carpenter’s iconic Escape from New York and a reimagining of 1981 horror classic The Howling. In an extended scene of Ink, Guy Pearce’s Rupert Murdoch and Larry Lamb, played by Jack O’Connell, whom the young media baron hired to run The Sun when he purchased it in 1969, are exploring the five “W’s” of journalism — who, where, when, what and why. The film is…
Nickelodeon “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is one of the best animated shows of all time. The Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko-created Nickelodeon series aced the macro and the micro of epic fantasy adventure to such an outstanding degree — with such care for the fundamentals of narrative structuring, world-building, visual storytelling, and character development — that it remains a cultural phenomenon two decades later, soon to get a Season 2 of its Netflix live-action adaptation. Given how bold, propulsive, thoughtfully-written, and just plain fun the show is for the near-entirety of its three seasons, picking out highlights is an exceptionally tough task. This list goes…

Among the news shared in the presentation was Marsh announcing that a fourth film in the Paddington franchise is currently in development. New Rolling Stones Book Details SHOCKING Relationship Age Gap With Band’s Biggest ‘P***y Hound’
[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] Sex, drugs, and rock and roll! That was the way of The Rolling Stones — but maybe a little too much for one member! In the upcoming The Rolling Stones: The Biography book, details of the rock group’s sex life are blasted for all to read… with piercing details about one crudely-put “p***y hound” in particular. According to the book, when the band first started touring the US in 1965, they’d keep the party going after concerts back at their hotel room with drugs and women, who one band member in particular had a thirst for…
One Piece. Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy in season 2 of One Piece. Cr. Courtesy of Netflix © 2026 Nielsen numbers for One Piece season 2 dropped last week, leading to some conflicting reports with Netflix’s own numbers… GamesRadar perhaps best cemented this, claiming that any reporting that season 2 was clocking in lower than season 1 was fake news and that Nielsen numbers contradict Netflix. What the heck is going on? Let’s have a look. Covering viewership between March 9th and March 15th, Nielsen published its numbers on April 9th and wrote the following about the return of One Piece:…
With his buddy Seth Rogen’s The Studio sitting out this Emmy cycle, Jason Segel and his Shrinking crew might be perfectly positioned to take advantage and score their first statuettes. Co-created by Segel, Bill Lawrence, and Brett Goldstein, Apple TV’s acclaimed comedy about a group of psychiatrists and their friends, family, and patients just wrapped an eventful Season 3 and is looking to break into the win column after racking up nine nominations for the first two seasons. Perhaps a couple of Emmy all-stars will help move the needle this time around. Gold Derby has confirmed that the show will…
Who Is Dianna Russini? Like Vrabel, Russini is a major player in the world of sports. All-State in basketball, softball, soccer and track at New Jersey’s Northern Valley Regional High School, she spent four years on the pitch at George Mason University. (Though, as she noted in a 2017 interview with USA Today High School Sports, soccer wasn’t her “best sport in high school; track was.”) Following reporting gigs in Westchester, New York City and Seattle, Russini, 43, was drafted to work as a sports anchor for NBC News, in West Hartford, Conn. and Washington, D.C. Starting in 2015, she…
