Tom Holland’s Audition Tape Was a Punisher-ing ExperienceJon Bernthal, who’s appearing as The Punisher on the big screen for the first time in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, played a key role in Holland’s journey. The Odyssey co-stars were making the 2017 film Pilgrimage and “that was where both Tom did his audition for Spider-Man and I did my audition for [Netflix’s] Punisher,” Bernthal said on Jimmy Kimmel Live in April 2025. “We actually made each other’s audition tapes on that film.” Holland was super-confident, Bernthal noted, so he admittedly tried to temper the teen’s expectations. “I was like, ‘There’s probably a lot of…
The Alan Cumming-backed Block the Merger coalition has submitted evidence to the UK Culture Secretary over why the Paramount-Warner mega-merger should be blocked. Four of the groups that make up the coalition said they provided Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy with “market data and first-hand professional evidence as she determines whether to intervene.” UK parliament is now in recess for the summer and Nandy, who has already said she is “minded to intervene,” will not deliver her decision until September 1 at the earliest. Since the recess, the $110B merger has slammed the brakes in the U.S. after 12 States sued.…

Garcia plays Joe Diamond, a private detective who dresses in vintage three-piece suits, narrates his days in hardboiled voiceover and carries a traumatic past. He’s an urban legend with a knack for cracking cases the LAPD can’t. When a wealthy widow (Vicky Krieps) hires him to prove she…

Blame it on the return of preppy, 90s style or the rise of quiet luxury fashion, but this classic collared staple is suddenly everywhere again; and no one is rocking the look better than Jennifer Garner. The 54-year-old actress was recently seen out and about in New York City rocking a pricey Prada polo, and while Prada isn’t exactly in our shopping budget, we did find a luxe lookalike on Amazon…

It’s interesting that even though the bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland happened almost 38 years ago, two limited scripted series have been produced about the attack in the past two years. On the other hand, Netflix‘s The Bombing Of Pan Am 103 concentrates more on the investigation itself. Opening Shot: A busy airport terminal gate around Christmastime. The setting is Heathrow Airport in London. The Gist: It’s December 21, 1988. Pan Am…
