Alix Earle Shares Her Side Of Alex Cooper Drama – Here’s EVERYTHING She Had To Say!

Alix Earle is finally spilling the tea on her very complicated relationship with Alex Cooper — and, WOW, she is not holding back!

The influencer opened up about ALL the drama during the first season of her reality show Earle Meets World, finally giving viewers a much deeper look at what allegedly went wrong between her and the Call Her Daddy host.

And according to Alix, this was not simply a business relationship that fizzled. She claims she felt betrayed, intimidated, used and, at times, downright scared.

While talking about it on the show’s first season with her dad, Thomas “TJ” Earle, Alix admitted she was nervous about publicly discussing the situation because of the power she believes Alex has:

“I just get scared because everyone tells me not to fight with her. Because they always win and they always come out on top. She even said to me, ‘You don’t want to go to war with me.’”

Yikes!

Okay, so, for some background: Alix launched her Hot Mess podcast under Alex’s Unwell Network back in 2023. The partnership eventually ended in 2025, when the podcast was dropped from the network. Rumors of tension between the two stars had been swirling for some time after that, but things really heated up when Alix reposted a TikTok referring to Alex as the “Grim Reaper.”

Alex then confronted the situation publicly herself, asking Alix to explain what their “beef” was. Alix responded, “OK on it!!” And then… nothing. Until now!

Sooo, apparently “on it” meant Alix was waiting until her reality show aired!!

On the new show, Alix acknowledged that she knew speaking publicly about the falling-out could bring even more backlash:

“I know no matter what I’ll say, people will have a problem with this. She’s probably going to have a problem with this and attack me after or twist and manipulate whatever she wants to say about me. That’s scary. That’s where I’m like, ‘Should I be doing this?’ But I know what I’m signing myself up for.”

And then came another major allegation: Alix says she found out through the media that she was no longer working with Unwell. That’s gotta hurt!

In a confessional on a first season episode, she recalled:

“I’m just intimidated. I don’t know what she’s going to do or how she’s going to twist things. I always hope that karma or something would do its thing one day and, um, karma’s taking awhile.”

Oof.

Alix also claimed there were problems on multiple levels during her time working with Unwell. She acknowledged that the company was a startup and that things were not necessarily going to be perfect, but she says the problems became a recurring pattern:

“There [were] just constantly issues. It just wasn’t run properly. It wasn’t what I was promised or told it was going to be like working with them.”

Her dad also offered his perspective, explaining why the family initially believed Unwell was the right home for Alix:

“One of the primary reasons that we ultimately ended up going with Unwell for Alix’s podcast was one, because she looked up to Alex Cooper and two, Alex Cooper would be able to mentor Alix in the business, in the podcasting business. And show her how to put together a show and give her all the resources to produce and develop a great show.”

But TJ claims what the family expected and what Alix allegedly received were two very different things:

“We knew what they promised us and then when they came in way below what they promised us, we were kind of like, ‘I guess this is how you produce a podcast.’ You sit on your bed with a camera that they sent you and you film it yourself. There’s no production crew, there’s nothing. … We come to find out, because Alix has other friends that do podcasts, that they are actually given real resources to produce a show. They have a producer. They have people that are helping them film and set up lighting and things like that. Alix had none of that, she was doing all of this by herself. Traveling around with suitcases full of cameras and then setting ‘em all up by herself.”

Sheesh!

TJ further claimed that production expenses were deducted from the podcast’s revenue before the remaining profits were divided between Alix and Unwell:

“So there was no expenses because they had Alix doing everything.”

But for Alix, she says the biggest issue ultimately wasn’t even the money:

“I don’t even care about the money or the contracts … Then once we worked with them again — because I felt pressured into signing with them again, so I did — they said, ‘OK, hire your own people for the show. We are taking everyone off.’ They didn’t invite me to events. They didn’t talk to me. They didn’t come up to meetings anymore. I’m like, ‘Why am I paying you to do something I’m not even happy doing and you’re not even giving me any support and I feel scared of you?’”

And Alix also claims that the problems weren’t limited to business:

“There’s like personality, and then there’s like work things. And both things went wrong. For example, from the start, I didn’t realize things were going wrong because I was obsessed with her. I was like, ‘This is my idol. I’m so happy to work with her.’ And then constantly felt taken advantage of and used and mistreated and manipulated.”

That admiration, Alix claims, played a major role in why the situation hurt so much.

She recalled being thrilled to appear on Call Her Daddy, but says her feelings changed after the experience:

“She sold me on a dream that she was going to protect me and look out for me and I feel like she took advantage of my admiration of her and she used that to her advantage.”

Alix also addressed an especially uncomfortable part of the interview, claiming Alex asked her increasingly sexual questions after they had been drinking.

Watching footage from the podcast, Alix reflected on how she now views the experience:

“I’m imagining myself in her shoes. To take someone in college, who is young and impressionable, you know looks up to you. And then ask them these raunchy questions which I was definitely a little bit comfortable with.”

But Alix claims some of the material went further than she wanted and that she later asked for certain portions to be removed:

“Part of that was stuff I had asked to be taken out after the interview. And she was like, ‘Oh I think it’s so funny.’ And it’s stuff that I didn’t necessarily want to live on the internet forever. So that definitely hurt me. Or, it hurts now. In the moment, I just was like, ‘She’s looking out for me.’”

And perhaps the most emotional part of Alix’s confession came when she discussed the lasting impact she says the interview had on her and her family:

“My kids are going to see that and it took a toll on all of us. After that interview when we talked about our family experience, I cried to her. I was like, ‘Thanks this meant so much to me. I really looked up to you and I’m so happy I got to share this story.’ It just makes me feel like a f**king loser. I was so excited and happy and I thought I was doing something so good and I did something so hurtful to all of us.”

Wow.

These are Alix’s allegations and recollections of what happened, as presented on Earle Meets World, and Alex Cooper has her own perspective on the history between them.

But one thing is crystal clear: whatever happened behind the scenes between these former collaborators, this friendship-turned-business relationship ended with some seriously complicated feelings.

And now that Alix has finally told her side, the question is: Will Alex respond?!
