Late Night With Seth Meyers is going on a lengthy hiatus.
Seth Meyers‘ late night talk show will be taking a long summer break for the next several weeks, and will air repeat episodes instead of welcoming celebs to chat.
Variety is reporting that his show will be on a seven-week-long break, which is apparently the longest break the show has ever taken since it kicked off in 2014. While it is normal for shows to be dark during planned vacations and breaks, seven weeks does not seem to be the norm for the NBC talk show.
The LateNighter is reporting that new episodes will return on September 21, 2026, though this has not been confirmed by NBC just yet.
Earlier today, the Late Night X account hinted at the hiatus, writing, “See you in the fall! September tickets for Late Night with @sethmeyers are now LIVE at http://latenightsethtickets.com !”
Right now, it appears as if only Jimmy Fallon‘s The Tonight Show is still continuing with new late night episodes. Jimmy Kimmel‘s late night show is still airing new episodes, but with guest hosts.
