A new free television channel dedicated to classic Hasbro entertainment brands has launched nationwide, bringing nostalgic programming to millions of households without requiring cable subscriptions or streaming fees. Hasbro Legends, a collaboration between Hasbro Entertainment and Get After It Media, began broadcasting on July 13 and now operates as a 24-hour linear channel available over the air in multiple markets. Announced back in April, the network is now live.

The service features a lineup centered on beloved franchises from Hasbro’s extensive library. Viewers can watch series based on G.I. Joe, Transformers, Power Rangers, My Little Pony, and Jem and the Holograms, among others. The programming mix targets families and fans across generations by reviving iconic animated and live-action shows that defined childhoods for decades. Content airs continuously, offering both familiar episodes and opportunities for new audiences to discover these heritage titles.

According to distribution details, the channel has expanded quickly. It is now live on 70 affiliates, covering 48.15%of U.S. television households. This footprint includes major markets and provides access to a potential audience of tens of millions through standard antenna reception.

The launch reflects broader industry trends of reviving legacy intellectual property for modern audiences. Hasbro has long maintained a vast portfolio of brands originally tied to toys, games, and entertainment. By partnering with a specialized broadcast operator, the company brings these properties back to free television at significant scale. The channel positions itself as a destination for family-friendly nostalgia, filling airtime with content that emphasizes adventure, friendship, and positive themes drawn from decades of storytelling.

Industry observers note the timing aligns with renewed interest in physical and free entertainment options amid fragmented streaming landscapes. Families seeking cost-effective viewing alternatives can now tune in classic series without additional costs. The channel’s availability on standard antennas makes it particularly appealing in households that have cut the cord or never subscribed to pay television.

Future plans include further affiliate growth to new markets. As coverage expands, more households across the country will gain easy access to the programming. The service stands out by focusing exclusively on established Hasbro properties rather than new productions, allowing it to deliver proven fan favorites around the clock.

The channel’s rapid rollout to dozens of affiliates demonstrates strong initial distribution momentum. With its emphasis on timeless entertainment, Hasbro Legends enters the broadcast space as a dedicated home for generations of fans to reconnect with characters and stories that remain culturally significant.
