Well, this just got a whole lot messier!
After THOSE cozy vacation photos of Jax Taylor and longtime publicist Lori Krebs sent the internet into overdrive to start the week, it sounds like Brittany Cartwright isn’t exactly shocked by her estranged husband’s behavior. But according to Page Six, it’s someone else she’s far more disappointed in.

As we previously reported, TMZ published photos showing Jax and Krebs getting very close during a birthday getaway in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The pair were photographed embracing in the resort pool, chatting closely, and looking awfully comfortable together throughout the celebration. An eyewitness even claimed they weren’t making any effort to hide that they were spending the day together.
And as if that weren’t enough, TMZ also obtained video of the two having what appeared to be an animated conversation while hanging out poolside with friends celebrating Jax’s July 11 birthday.
Now, a source tells Page Six that Brittany found out about the photos on Monday — and apparently the biggest sting on her end isn’t coming from Jax at all. Why? Well, because, as the insider put it:
“[Brittany] doesn’t expect much from him at this point.”
Ouch…
Instead, the source claims Brittany feels deeply betrayed by Krebs, who had been a trusted publicist and friend of the now-former couple for years. According to the insider:
“When the Jax-Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany chose to believe Lori that nothing was going on. She continued to work with her and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?”
Yikes.
To that end, if you’ve been following this saga, you’ll remember this isn’t the first time Jax and Lori have found themselves at the center of romance speculation.
Back in early 2024, fans started talking after Jax shared a selfie with Krebs. At the time, both he and Brittany dismissed the chatter on their When Reality Hits podcast, with Brittany even going out of her way to praise Krebs as an incredible publicist and a close friend. Jax then denied there was anything romantic going on when asked at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Fast-forward to now, and those two-year-old denials are getting a whole new level of scrutiny!
The Page Six source didn’t stop there, either. The insider went on to allege:
“[Krebs always] inserted herself into moments that should be about her clients … [and this time] crossed a line she cannot come back from.”
Double ouch…
Adding another twist to the story, the outlet also reported that the LoriK Public Relations founder appeared to deactivate her Instagram account shortly before the vacation pictures surfaced on Monday — something that’s only fueling even more speculation online.
Of course, Brittany filed for divorce from Jax back in August of 2024, and the former couple has continued co-parenting their 5-year-old son, Cruz, while waiting for their divorce to be finalized. So, there’s a lot at play here!
