It sounds like we might be getting a Florence Pugh cameo in the new Spider-Man movie!
While appearing at BiliBili World in Shanghai on Saturday (July 11), Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige seemingly confirmed that the 30-year-old Oscar-nominated actress will be reprising her role as Yelena in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
“If you’re a fan of Yelena, wait until Avengers: Doomsday. Yelena plays a big part in that,” Kevin said of the upcoming movie, which hits theaters in December.
“But if you don’t want to wait until then, you might see Yelena a little bit sooner in the movies,” he then teased.

There’s only one Marvel that is slated to be released between now and Doomsday, and that’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hits theaters at the end of July.
Florence first appeared as Yelena Belova, the adoptive sister of Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff, in the 2021 movie Black Widow. She then appeared in three episodes of the Disney+ series Hawkeye later that year and last year she starred in Thunderbolts*.
It has already been revealed that Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Punisher (Jon Bernthal) will be appearing in the new Spider-Man movie.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31. Watch the trailer here!
