An original cast member from Chicago P.D. is exiting the series!
LaRoyce Hawkins will be wrapping up his tenure as Officer Kevin Atwater on the fan favorite NBC drama. The series is part of the “One Chicago” shows on Wednesday evenings, which also include Chicago Fire and Chicago Med.
The 38-year-old actor will return to wrap up his storyline for the first few episodes of season 14 before departing as a series regular, Deadline reports.
Apparently, the series is currently casting a new series regular, described as “a Black cop who is an agent of chaos.”
Chicago P.D. is “a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intelligence Unit, combatting the city’s most heinous offenses – organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond.”
It will be back on NBC in the fall. We do have an update on who will definitely be back for the new season.
