Lisa is opening up about how her relationship with her fans has changed over the years.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair published on Tuesday (June 23), the 29-year-old BLACKPINK singer, whose full name is Lalisa Manobal, said that her fans have more “respect” for her privacy ever since it was first rumored that she’s dating Frédéric Arnault.
“I feel like after I came out and talked about how there’s no privacy for me, [fans] now respect that a lot more,” Lisa shared.
While the K-pop singer said that she has a deep appreciation for her fans, she did note that “they know that being in this position is not easy.”
“Sometimes it’s just a little too much, and sometimes I just want to be normal,” Lisa added.
Vanity Fair reported that Lisa and the 31-year-old French businessman, who is the CEO of Loro Piana, seem to have broken up as he was absent from her birthday celebration this past March.
Lisa, who tends to keep her romantic life extremely private, and Frédéric were first romantically linked together in November 2022 after he attended a BLACKPINK concert.
