Jennifer Garner is paying tribute to her ex-husband Ben Affleck on Father’s Day.
The Alias actress shared rare photos of Ben with their three kids and wrote a sweet note about his role as their father. The former couple share kids Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14.
Jennifer and Ben were married from 2005 to 2015, with their divorce finalized in 2018.
In her Father’s Day post on Instagram, Jennifer shared photos of both her own father and Ben.
“My sisters and I loved to spoil our dad; he never wanted for fresh baked cookies or a bowl of ice cream. I see the way my kids dote on their dad and I’m happy for them. To love and be loved by a great dad is a gift. Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads and to the kids of dads, too,” Jennifer captioned the post.
Jennifer recently revealed the emotional Mother’s Day request she made of her kids this year, which was to pile into the upstairs reading nook and let her read aloud from their favorite childhood books one more time.
“They’re like, ‘Mom.’ And I’m like, ‘I know, but I think I need that. You have to let me,’” she told Better Homes & Gardens.
