Heading into the sixth episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11, Crystal Methyd was still the front-runner in Bracket 2 after being named top two for the second straight challenge. Though Silky Nutmeg Ganache beat her in the Lip Sync for Your Legacy to earn an extra point, Crystal remained in the lead with five points to Silky’s four. Prior to the MVQ ceremony, Aura Mayari had two points while Salina EsTitties, Vivacious, and April Carrión each had one.
For their third and final challenge, the Bracket 2 all stars met real-life gay dads and transformed them into members of their own drag family for their last chance to earn enough points to advance to the semifinals. Actress Janelle James served as guest judge alongside series stars RuPaul Charles, Michelle Visage, and Ross Mathews. Read on for our recap of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 11, Episode 6, titled “Too Many Daddies,” which began streaming Friday, June 5 at 12 a.m. PT on Paramount+.
In the preliminary rounds, the 18 queens of All Stars 11 were divided into three brackets of six to compete in three challenges where only two from each would advance to the semifinals. Earning enough points to advance from Bracket 1 was A’Keria C. Davenport (Season 11, All Stars 6) and Dawn (Season 16).

“You done bored mother, look at her face. Look at mother’s face! You have bored mother.” — Silky Nutmeg Ganache
Gameplay was on everyone’s mind as they considered how to distribute their MVQ points after the second challenge. With Crystal in the lead, no one took her up on the offer to give her a point in return for a promise that she’d give them one in the third challenge. Instead, Aura gave her point to Vivacious trusting that the “old lady” would keep her word to return the favor (which she did), leaving her alliance member Salina stunned at the rebuke. Luckily, Salina was in multiple alliances and so her other opportunity for a point came from April via their own direct trade. That didn’t stop Salina from laying a guilt trip on Aura and getting a pinky promise out of her that she’d give her a point after the last challenge. By the end of the second ceremony, Aura was up to three points and Salina, Vivacious and April were up to two.
Before stepping into their final maxi challenge, the queens played in the “Slap Out of It” mini challenge by competing to create the most memorable slap moment in fake fights with each other. Though Vivacious got a couple good reads in on her sisters, Ru chose Silky as the winner for creating the hilarious new acronym “W.A.I.T.” which stands for “Why am I terrible?”
In addition to a $2,500 cash tip, as the winner of the mini challenge Silky got first pick of the gay dad of her choice to work with in the family resemblance makeover that served as their third maxi challenge. Wanting to avoid the easy route and to avoid an eye roll from Michelle, Silky chose Derek the teacher for herself. She then paired Aura with Hector the graphic designer, Salina with Eric the occupational therapist, Crystal with Antwon the pediatrician, Vivacious with Jeffrey the photographer, and April with Kyle the business owner.

“I am doing backflips mentally in my head because I paint like Helen Keller.” — Vivacious
During first impressions with their new daddies, some of the queens hit immediate speed bumps. Antwon admitted to Crystal that he didn’t think her drag aesthetic aligned with his own natural style and Salina learned that Eric had not only never walked in heels before but was very nervous overall. Silky was relieved that her attempt at swinging big with a ginger-haired bearded white man paid off in their instant vibes and that his cheeks lended to an “old nasty Miss America pageant” paint. Vivacious was concerned that as the least skilled makeup artist of the group, that she had an uphill battle despite getting a layup of a partner that already naturally looked like her.
Even though Antwon was “being a good sport” about the difference of opinions with Crystal’s style, Crystal was not feeling confident about her chances to place in the top of the bracket for the challenge. As such and after doing some math with Salina, she finally saw the importance of alliances and realized that “friendships really matter” if she was going to advance to the next round. Having already pushed April and Aura to give her their points, Salina also approached both Crystal and Silky to apply pressure that they also give her a point, but once again Salina’s scheming turned Aura off from wanting to fulfill her promise.

“We look like we just came out of a piñata’s butthole.” — Crystal Methyd
In addition to walking in the “Drag Family Resemblance” category with their new family members, the queens had to prepare the daddies for their own Main Stage group performance of the Drag Race original song “Too Many Daddies.” Following the performance, the judges told Silky that Creamy Cayenne Ganache looked like Tina Knowles (complimentary), but Michelle said they look more like friends than family. Michelle preferred the resemblances between Aura and Whora Mayari and Salina and Titi EsTitties, both of which she said fulfilled the brief. Ross acknowledged to Antwon that Crystal’s vision for Sister Pull-Out Methyd probably wasn’t he thought he was getting himself into, but Antwon ended up embracing the “chaos” anyway. Ru was the first to tell Vivacious that Vivicious was a success story and Janelle added that her first thought was that they were actual family members. April and May Carrión got compliments for looking like sisters and for their performance quality.
Because of the transformation they created for their daddies and the strong family resemblance in the finished product, Salina and Vivacious were named the top two all stars of the week. With their newly acquired two points, Salina and Vivacious raised in the point total to a tie for second place with Silky at four each. Prior to the lip sync, Salina tried to confirm the “Pekpek” alliance with Aura for another point that could send her to the semifinals, but at the back of the stage, Silky asked Aura to affirm a deal they made just before in “Untucked” to swap points. Silky also made the point swap deal with Crystal during “Untucked,” putting her in the possible position of receiving two that could secure her spot.
Salina defeated Vivacious in the Lip Sync for Your Legacy to “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj, earning the extra point to raise her total to five. During the deciding MVQ ceremony on stage, Crystal gave her point to Silky, Silky gave her point to April, Aura gave her point to Silky, and April gave her point to Crystal. With those decisions, Silky and Crystal advanced to the next round with six points each, leaving Salina in third place with five wondering where her many alliances went wrong.
But “all is not lost” because Salina and the others in the bottom still have a chance to be picked by Ru and Michelle for the Wild Card that will re-enter the competition.
