Paul Rudd has been baffling the internet for years!
Seriously, how is this man seemingly aging at a completely different speed than the rest of Hollywood?! Fans have joked about vampires, magic potions, secret laboratories, and every other wild theory imaginable. But now the actor is addressing one of the most common rumors head-on: Botox!
During a recent appearance on Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast, the beloved star found himself answering the question that has followed him around for what feels like forever. After all, when someone looks suspiciously similar decade after decade, people are going to ask questions!

The conversation started innocently enough when Shane asked:
“Are you vegan?”
When Rudd answered that he isn’t, the host immediately got to the real mystery that millions of fans have been wondering about:
“So then why don’t you age?”
Ha! Fair question!
Rudd, however, was quick to push back on the idea that he’s somehow escaped the aging process:
“I do [age]. You’re kind for saying that, but I really do.”
Of course, that answer wasn’t enough to satisfy everyone. The Botox rumors have floated around for years, so Shane decided to go straight for it and ask whether cosmetic injectables might be responsible for the actor’s famously youthful appearance.
Rudd’s response? Simple:
“No. Look at my face.”
And to prove his point, the 40-Year-Old Virgin star lifted his eyebrows, demonstrating that they actually move.

BTW, this isn’t the first time that the 57-year-old actor has been asked to explain the secret behind his remarkably youthful appearance. Over the years, fans have begged him for a magic formula. Is it a special diet? An intense workout routine? Some kind of expensive celebrity treatment?
Back in 2023, Rudd told Men’s Health that one of the most important factors in his routine is simply getting enough sleep. While many people focus on complicated fitness plans and restrictive diets, Rudd emphasized that consistently getting around eight hours of rest is a major priority for him.
He has also shared details about a fairly straightforward morning routine that includes coffee and cardio before breakfast. Not exactly the shocking Hollywood secret some fans may have hoped for!

And despite all the chatter about his appearance, Rudd has repeatedly shown that he has a sense of humor about the whole thing. In 2019, he famously joked that he’s actually much older than he looks on the inside. During a reunion with his Clueless cast mates, he quipped that there was “pure darkness” inside, before adding that a little moisturizer probably helps too.
