Jason Derulo is opening up about one business venture that makes him a lot of money.
The 36-year-old entertainer is most well known for his music career, having produced five full-length albums over the years, but he’s also found other ways to make some cash, including several business ventures and even posting on social media.
While attending the 2026 American Music Awards this week, Jason shared that one business investment in particular has yielded him the most!
“My best investment was Rocket Carwash,” he told E! News. “That is something that I can hang my hat on that went very well.”

The carwash company runs on a subscription based model, which costs users anywhere from $25 to $60 a month, depending on which service they want. There are many locations across the country in states like California, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Utah and Pennsylvania.
The business, as Jason shared, is now valued at $2 billion!
However, the entertainer is well aware of what can happen if “it went all wrong.”
“I got a lot of worst investments, a lot of those,” he told E!. “I think it’s important for people to know that it’ll probably go wrong way more times than it’s gonna go well—but you only need one to go well.”
“And if you get more than one,” he continued, “fantastic. But you only need really one. Gotta get lucky one time.”

Despite his various business ventures, which also includes restaurant Catch LA, Jason shares the other businesses won’t “even close to the happiness” he gets from performing.
“Every single time I’m about to go perform—and every single time after I perform—I say, ‘Thank you, God, for me to be able to do the thing that I love to do most,’” he dished. “I say, ‘Thank you, God, that I’m able to make the music that I’m making. for people to actually listen to it.’”
“That is what passion is,” Jason added. “That is what happiness is. It’s not about any dollar or any amount of money.”
