This Memorial Day’s American Music Awards is poised to be a showdown between the fandoms. In the fan-voted awards, to the biggest stans go the spoils, and this year’s AMAs have some of the most fervent vying for the same honors.
BTS , Taylor Swift , Bad Bunny , and Lady Gaga will all face off across various categories, including Artist of the Year, at the upcoming 2026 AMAs, and as the show on May 25 quickly approaches, Gold Derby has your final look at the odds for the night.
The recently reunited K-Pop group BTS is currently favored to win the night’s top honor, Artist of the Year. They’re sitting ahead of both this year’s Grammy winner for Album of the Year, Bad Bunny, and the winningest artist in AMAs history, Taylor Swift. BTS is also the odds-on favorite to win Best Male K-Pop Artist.
But Swift isn’t likely to leave empty-handed. The megastar behind the Eras Tour is favored in both Album of the Year with her 12th studio LP, The Life of a Showgirl , and Song of the Year with that record’s lead single, “The Fate of Ophelia.” She’s also predicted to win Best Female Pop Artist and Best Music Video for “The Fate of Ophelia.”
Elsewhere in the predictions, Olivia Dean is looking likely to repeat her Grammys win for Best New Artist, PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson are favored to win Collaboration of the Year for “Stateside,” and Harry Styles is leading Best Male Pop Artist.
