The Enhanced Games are moving one step closer to their inaugural event and have partnered with Roku as its North American streaming home. Streaming free on the Roku Sports Channel on May 24 across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, the first-of-its-kind competition blends elite athletics, scientific innovation, and the approved use of performance-enhancing substances.
The competition will feature a broadcast team built around familiar sports-media names. The commentary lineup consists of Emmanuel Acho as lead studio anchor, Abby Labar as main desk co-host, and Bryan Johnson stepping in as the event’s first “Human Enhancement Analyst.” Rounding out the team to cover all the action and entertainment are Justin Kutcher, Sam Quek, and Oliver Trevena.
“We look forward to bringing Roku users across North America the excitement and energy of this one-of-a-kind competition,” said Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports, Roku. “Congratulations to Enhanced Games on their inaugural event, and we’re excited to work together to bring this live event to millions of viewers.”
Scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Resorts World Las Vegas, the multi-sport event features 50 athletes across swimming, track and field, and weightlifting. The athlete-first sports property has been met with controversy as it says it is built around “safe, transparent enhancement,” record payouts, and a new model for elite competition.
“As a new and innovative live sports property, we are ecstatic to have Roku as our official North American partner,” said Maximilian Martin, Chief Executive Officer of Enhanced. “Roku provides us immense reach and helps establish a solid foundation as we aim to revolutionize sports with our inaugural event.”
What to Know About the Enhanced Games
Enhanced describes the Games as a global annual competition aimed at pushing human performance through scientific innovation and a medical oversight framework. The company stresses that the event is separate from the Olympics and built around its own rules and business model.
That model has already attracted major attention, as each event will carry a $500,000 prize purse, with $250,000 going first to place, plus appearance fees and $1 million bonuses for certain world-record performances.
A few athletes already stand out in the build-up to the Games:
- Fred Kerley, the two-time Olympic medallist and three-time world champion, is the first track athlete and first American male athlete to officially sign on.
- Mouhamadou Fall, the French national champion and former Tokyo Olympian, was announced as the first French athlete to join.
- Tristan Evelyn, a two-time Olympian, will compete as a non-enhanced athlete in the women’s 100m.
- Hafþór “Thor” Björnsson, the World’s Strongest Man champion, is set for an exhibition deadlift attempt. Thor will try to break his own 510 kg world record.
“Just as the ancient Olympics were revived and renovated in 1896 for the Victorian world, the Enhanced Games is once again renovating the Olympic model for the twenty-first century. In the era of accelerating technological and scientific change, the world needs a sporting event that embraces the future, particularly advances in medical science,” said Dr. Aron D’Souza, Enhanced Games co-founder in 2024.
For those in Las Vegas, Enhanced is turning the whole weekend into more than just competition. The company booked The Killers to headline the closing ceremonies on May 24, with DJ Ruckus set for the afterparty, giving the event an entertainment-festival angle in addition to the sports themselves.
Cord cutters can catch all of the action during the high-profile, highly polarizing experiment with real athletes and real prize money when the Enhanced games stream for free on the Roku Sports Channel on Sunday, May 24.
