Now that we’re rapidly approaching the halfway point of 2026, it’s a simple fact that this has been a great year for Netflix shows. So far this year, the streaming service has released new seasons of smash-hit series like The Night Agent, Bridgerton, The Lincoln Lawyer, Running Point, Virgin River, and more, but there are still plenty more fan-favorites to look forward to coming up soon.

Beyond some of the most popular Netflix shows coming back with new seasons this year, the streamer also premiered a number of new series that have become overnight sensations, such as His & Hers, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, and Big Mistakes, just to name a few. With half the year still to deliver new series, we have lots more new shows to discover.

This spring and summer boasts great new picks from Netflix, including the highly anticipated Little House on the Prairie reboot, the follow-up season for Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the new seasons of Sweet Magnolias and Ransom Canyon. There’s also The Hunting Wives, Nobody Wants This, and more fan-favorite series confirmed for release in 2026.
