Not long after Yash Patel won the Week 10 HOH competition, the new Head of Household was forced to show his cards by nominating three people for eviction.
All week long, Yash had been lying to his fellow players about the specifics of the BB Bribe. He claimed he’d only agreed to save Dee Valladares, when in fact he’d agreed to save Dee, Rick Devens, and Angela Murray, the latter of whom was evicted on Thursday.
The truth is now out. When the live feeds returned around 5:20 p.m. PT on Friday, it was revealed that Yash’s three nominees were Barrett Pfeiffer, Drew Campbell, and Melody Morris. Thus, the F.A.P. alliance members are all now sweating — and it’s not just the Los Angeles heat wave.
Dee and Devens are preparing themselves for a relaxing week, but there is still a nightmare scenario for the Survivor legends to consider.
If Taylor Brown wins the Power of Veto on Saturday and uses it to remove one of the three nominees, the BB Bribe will be voided because it’s mathematically impossible for Yash to put up anyone other than Dee or Devens as a renom. Keep in mind that “Pod Almighty” has yet to win a single competition, so the chances of this nightmare scenario happening are slim.
Before the nominations ceremony, Dee was seen crying her eyes out over losing her best friend in the house, Angela. Drew tried to console her in the backyard by saying Angela would be proud of Dee’s friendship when she eventually watches the footage.
Devens, on the other hand, was slightly confused, even claiming he’d never seen this emotional side of Dee when they were on Survivor together. They both laughed when she openly admitted, “I don’t think I’d be crying” if Devens had gone home instead.
Either Barrett, Drew, Melody, or a potential replacement nominee will be headed to the jury house on Thursday, but they won’t be the only one. That’s right, it’s double eviction week, which means the Top 7 is about to become the Top 5.
