Gold Derby is serving up Big Brother 28 spoilers all summer long. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
I scream, you scream, we all scream for the Veto meeting!
Melody Morris was so upset this week with Dee Valladares blowing up the Mosh Pit alliance that she buried her face in a pillow and screamed bloody murder. Live-feed viewers caught the ear-piercing screech on Sunday evening, after Melody learned that Dee was considering putting a second Mosh Pit member on the block alongside Drew Campbell.
On Monday afternoon, Melody’s worst fear came true. Her No. 1 ally, Mallory Aurichio, was officially nominated by Dee after Veto winner LaTrice “Lala” Verrett pulled herself off the block. Taylor Brown rounds out the trio of nominees. That means either Drew, Mallory, or Taylor will be evicted Thursday night.
The Mosh Pit was created last week after Rick Devens decided to extend the five-member Crossovers alliance — Devens, Dee, Drew, Angela Murray, and Barrett Pfeiffer — to include Melody and Mallory. The newly formed seven-person group stuck together and ousted Kamu Kirk once Devens used his Diamond Power of Veto to shake up the game.
After Dee won the Week 7 HOH, Melody and Mallory thought they’d have an easy week in the Big Brother house. But that turned out not to be the case after Dee chose to give safety to Yash Patel (after he took her $5K bribe) and Haley Thogmartin (because she wants to work with her in the future). With numbers dwindling, Dee had no choice but to nominate a Mosh Pit player alongside Taylor and Lala, and then a second after Lala saved herself with the Veto.
Melody told Barrett and Drew she was sick of Dee and Devens “playing this game like it’s Survivor,” and hinted that she’d be going after them if she wins Head of Household next week. In other words, the Mosh Pit is officially donezo.
Here’s a quick recap of all of the important milestones so far on BB28:
