Dee Valladares broke up her own alliance on Friday night, and on Saturday the Big Brother 28 house made sure she’ll get even more blood on her hands.
The Week 7 Head of Household nominated Drew Campbell, LaTrice “Lala” Verrett, and Taylor Brown, torching the Mosh Pit she’d barely just joined. All three nominees played in Saturday’s Veto competition, along with Dee, Angela Murray, and Barrett Pfeiffer. And the winner was …
Lala!

That’s right — two weeks after becoming the oldest houseguest to ever win the Wall, the 58-year-old has a Power of Veto to go with it. She had asked Dee and Angela that morning whether they’d object to her using it on herself. Both said they wouldn’t. Neither appeared to think she’d be in a position to.
Once Lala comes down at Monday’s Veto meeting, Dee needs a third nominee. Mallory Aurichio is the name being pushed hardest. Melody Morris has also been floated.
Yash Patel, notably, is not in the conversation, despite putting Dee on the block a week ago. That’s because he accepted her $5K BB Bribe this week, agreeing to keep Dee and Devens safe if he wins a future HOH.
TAYLOR CONFRONTS DEE AND ANGELA
Taylor went to the HOH room Saturday morning to ask why she’d been nominated, wondering aloud whether it was her alliance with Lala or her more recent closeness with Haley Thogmartin that did it.
She didn’t get a straight answer from Angela, who repeatedly pointed out that she isn’t the Head of Household this week. Dee was more direct, telling Taylor she’d gone up because other people had been saying her name. Taylor wasn’t satisfied. Angela turned it around and spent a stretch of the conversation explaining why she felt Taylor had been coming after her.
Taylor took the argument downstairs afterward, confronting Melody about the accusation that she’d been plotting against Angela. Melody denied being the source. Taylor’s position: strategizing about a vote isn’t the same thing as scheming against someone, and the house has decided to pin the week on her regardless.
