This one’s for the true-crime crowd. One of the most notorious criminal cases of the 2000s is about to be revisited through the lens of “newly surfaced evidence” in the upcoming documentary Scott Peterson: The New Evidence.
Airing over two nights on A&E, the new doc reexamines the tragic 2002 deaths of Laci and Conner Peterson. Laci’s husband, Scott Peterson, is currently serving a life sentence after a jury found him guilty of murdering Laci and their unborn son, Conner, on Christmas Eve 2002. Per the official synopsis, “multiple petitions filed by Scott Peterson’s defense team have introduced additional points of new evidence that may challenge key aspects of the case.” Scott Peterson: The New Evidence purports to present a “compelling and multidimensional exploration of events to examine previously unexplored angles and shed new light on lingering questions.”
