Josh Duggar has been transferred for the fifth time as he continues serving his federal prison sentence.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star, 38, is now being held at FCI Elkton in Lisbon, Ohio, according to court records obtained by Us Weekly.
A Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson told KNWA TV that Duggar was moved from the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City to the Ohio facility on Wednesday (July 8). The BOP classifies FCI Elkton as a low-security federal correctional institution with an adjacent low-security satellite facility.
This marks Duggar‘s latest move since his April 2021 arrest. After initially being held at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas, he spent most of his sentence at FCI Seagoville in Texas.
He was later transferred to the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth before temporarily being housed in Oklahoma City. Officials have not publicly explained the transfers.
Duggar was found guilty in December 2021 of receiving and possession child sexual abuse material. He was sentence in May 2022 to 151 months in federal prison.
He has continued challenging the conviction. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit affirmed the ruling in August 2023, and the Supreme Court declined to hear his case in June 2024.
Duggar has maintained his innocence and previously argued that errors were made in the handling of forensic evidence at trial.
