Another major blow for Taylor Frankie Paul…
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the reality star’s ex-husband, Tate Paul, filed for a restraining order against her in Utah on Tuesday. He made the request in connection with their 2022 divorce proceedings. Not only that, but sources close to him claimed he also filed for sole custody of their two children, 8-year-old daughter Indy and 6-year-old son Ocean.

Tate submitted five exhibits and a declaration in support of his request. However, the filings are under seal, meaning it is unknown what prompted him to seek the restraining order and custody right now. Taylor has a theory, though! Dakota Mortensen, with whom she has been locked in a custody battle with over their 2-year-old son Ever since their domestic violence dispute earlier this year, is allegedly to blame!
A source close to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives claimed to TMZ that the petition is a result of Dakota telling Tate lies about her, and she feels her second baby daddy will do everything he can to hurt her right now, even if it means using the kids. That’s messed up, if true.
Taylor clearly has been going through a lot with her exes, so it’s no wonder she decided to seek help recently. Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday that she voluntarily checked into a rehab facility, which provides mental health treatment, on the recommendation of her doctor. A source added:
“She is focused on doing the work with her mental health professionals and checked in for a voluntary stay. She has since been cleared and departed. Her priority remains doing the work on her mental health and being a good mom.”
