Angelina Jolie is opening up about her dating life!
It’s hard to believe it’s already been a decade since the Girl, Interrupted star filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. But while the Fight Club actor has made a name for himself on the dating scene once again, Angelina has apparently been playing it more low-key!

During an recent interview with Yahoo Entertainment, the Wanted actress discussed her new movie Couture, in which she plays a filmmaker and a mother grappling with a breast cancer diagnosis during Paris Fashion Week. Throughout the film, Angie’s character is romantically involved with a cinematographer played by Louis Garrel — and she says taking on the role helped her realize that she, too, can balance motherhood and dating IRL! Because she’s apparently kept a low profile ever since leaving Brad! The 51-year-old revealed to the outlet:
“To be candid, I haven’t dated since I divorced a decade ago.”
Wow!
Over recent years, the Salt actress has been linked to a few different names… From Broadway star Justin Levine, to British rapper Akala, and even The Weeknd! But we guess she really did just keep them all in the friend zone all along!
Angie went on:
“I kind of get in my head that that aspect of me [dating] is not centered in my life if I’m focusing on my children, my family.”
However, her role as Maxine in Couture changed that perception. She reflected:
“It took me a second to kind of say, well, she can also love her daughter and be dedicated to her daughter and also need this as a woman and receive this as a woman.”
Yes! But honestly, we don’t blame her for putting dating on the back burner. We all know how tumultuous her divorce from Brad has been! That has to have put a sour taste in her mouth! We do wonder, though, if it’ll be open season for the Oscar winner now that she’s come to this realization??
