Tubi Partners with KevOnStage for More Creator-Led Content

Today, Tubi announced another creator partnership that will add more content to the free streaming platform from comedian, actor, and digital creator Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks.

Following the success of the Tubi Original Safe Space, which was released in November 2025, Tubi is expanding the partnership with KevOnStage to include two new seasons of Safe Space, a new scripted series, original feature films, and his first stand up special.

“Kevin has built a powerful connection with audiences through authentic, laugh-out-loud storytelling,” said Rich Bloom, General Manager, Creator Programs & Executive Vice President, Business Development at Tubi. “Expanding our partnership with him reflects our commitment to giving creators who bring unique voices and loyal fanbases to the platform the runway to go bigger, whether that means a new series, a stand-up special, or their first films.”

“Safe Space found its audience on Tubi, and I found a home,” said Kevin Fredericks, comedian, actor, and New York Times bestselling author. “This slate is what happens when a platform believes in a creator’s full vision and gives them room to grow. Tubi has given me the platform to do it all, from producing my first stand-up special to developing my first films, while also creating opportunities for up-and-coming creators, especially Black creators whose voices deserve to be amplified. Comedy has always been central to who I am, and getting to bring these projects to life with a partner that truly believes in the work has been incredibly meaningful. We’re building something much bigger than one show, and I can’t wait for people to see what’s coming.”

Here’s more about the new titles from KevOnStage coming to Tubi.

  • Safe Space (Season 2): Returning in June 11, Season 2 of the scripted comedy follows the underqualified Dr. Fredericks as he attempts to guide struggling couples back to a place of healing. The new season features a new cast with delightful cameos over the span of 8 episodes.
  • Safe Space (Season 3): Slated for July 2027, the third season of this fan favorite returns to Dr. Fredericks as he attempts to guide nine relationships back to emotional stability with more wildly unconventional methods that do more harm than good.
  • The Airport: Premiering November 2026, this 10-episode comedy series is set in the country’s most dysfunctional airport, where an ill-equipped staff struggles to keep things running amid constant chaos.
  • Grief Sucks: Debuting February 21, 2027, Kevin’s first stand-up special on a streaming platform offers a heartfelt and comedic take on grief and family, delivering Fredericks’ most personal material to date.
  • Two feature films: A holiday comedy, debuting in 2027, and a horror comedy, releasing in 2028 will further expand Kevin’s creative partnership with Tubi, bringing the same laugh-out-loud humor and signature storytelling style audiences have embraced in his television series to the feature film space.

Tubi launched Tubi for Creators in June 2025 and has since expanded the program to include over 20,000 episodes from over 300 creators. In November 2025, Tubi launched its first slate of creator series, which including partnerships with Joey Graceffa, KevOnStage, TheOneShu, Bigg Jah, Rock Squad, and Dan & Riya. The next lineup of content came in April 2026 with new original series from Keith Lee, Bob the Drag Queen, and Sofi Manassyan. Tubi has also streamed live altcasts with creators Michelle Khare and Jeremiah Burton for the 2026 Formula 1 season.
