We’ve compiled a massive update detailing exactly what’s rolling cameras and what’s preparing to shoot between September and December 2026. From big-budget action blockbusters to your favorite returning binge-watches, the pipeline is absolutely packed to the brim.

Netflix Movies Filming (September – December 2026)

Currently Filming & Wrapping in September/October

• A Matter of Time – Fantasy rom-com starring Ben Stiller, Nicholas Galitzine, and Bella Maclean; filming in London, UK (Wrap date TBD, ongoing through Fall).
• Ad Vitam Eternam – A French-language crime thriller sequel. Directed by Ludovic Colbeau-Justin and starring Guillaume Canet (who also co-writes and produces). Filming across Normandy, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, and Rhone-Alpes, France (Early August through late October).
• Bad Bridgets – 19th-century period thriller produced by Margot Robbie; filming in Ireland and Northern Ireland (wraps September 4th).
• Better Than the Movies – YA rom-com adaptation filming in Chicago, IL (Early September through mid-October).
• Eleven (aka Once) – A historical drama feature centered on 11 interwoven stories during the September 11, 1973 military coup in Chile, chronicling the 18 hours that culminated in the bombing of the presidential palace and the ousting of President Salvador Allende. Directed and co-written by Pablo Larraín, the film stars Alfredo Castro, Roberto Farías, and Octavia Bernasconi. Filming in Chile (Fall 2026).
• Extraction 3 – Starring Chris Hemsworth; currently filming in Sydney, Australia, with a stop in Thailand (runs through October).
• Grown Ups 3 – Adam Sandler and the Happy Madison crew; filming across New Jersey, Boston, France, and Italy (runs through October 14th).
• Projet K – A French-language historical true-crime thriller following Beate and Serge Klarsfeld on their relentless, decade-long pursuit of justice to hunt down Klaus Barbie, the notorious “Butcher of Lyon.” Defying state institutions and powerful governments, the couple risks everything to bring the Nazi war criminal to trial. Directed and co-written by Yvan Attal, the film stars Diane Kruger as Beate Klarsfeld, Dany Boon as Serge Klarsfeld, and Tim Roth as Klaus Barbie. Filming in Paris and Lyon, France; Belgium; and Bolivia (Mid-August through mid-October).

• Spy Duo – Directed by McG, this action-comedy follows two rival spies whose double lives collide when they cross paths in a Lamaze class and their wives become fast friends. Forced to reluctantly become confidantes, the two men must team up as partners on the road to fatherhood. Based on a short story by Sean Lewis, the film stars Kevin Hart, Henry Cavill, Jason Isaacs, Justine Lupe, and Aja Naomi King. Filming in New Jersey and France (August 31st through November 23rd).
• The Inbetweeners 3 – A new feature film continuation of the hit coming-of-age sitcom following the ongoing misadventures of Will McKenzie and his friends Simon, Neil, and Jay. Written and directed by series creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, the film features the return of original stars Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison, and Joe Thomas. Filming in the United Kingdom (Started September 7th and expected to wrap in mid-November).
• Women Like Us – A comedy-drama following a recently widowed woman who is dragged to the Hamptons by her sister and lifelong best friends on what would have been her 30th anniversary, leading to a weekend reckoning with grief, marriage, and their enduring sisterhood. Directed by Tasha Smith and executive produced by Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions, the film stars a powerhouse ensemble featuring Whoopi Goldberg, Jenifer Lewis, Vanessa Williams, and Vivica A. Fox. Filming across New York and New Jersey (September 22nd through October 31st).

• Assassin’s Creed (Season 1) – Filming across Europe (runs through mid-October).
• Bridgerton (Season 5) – Filming in London, UK (expected to wrap by mid-October per latest intel)
• Emily in Paris (Season 6) – Filming across Paris, Greece, and Monaco (runs through late September, per latest intel).
• I Suck at Girls – Coming-of-age comedy filming in Los Angeles (runs through October 16th).
• Little House on the Prairie (Season 2) – Filming in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (runs through late October).
• Myron Bolitar – Harlan Coben adaptation; filming across NY/NJ from July (runs through October 10th, previously through November).
• Queenstown (Working Title: Black Diamond) – A luxury ski resort drama following a privileged family and their employees as they collide over power, loyalty, and desire. Created by Chloe Stearns, the ensemble cast features Rufus Sewell, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Anna Baryshnikov, and Frances O’Connor. Filming in Queenstown, New Zealand (July 13th through October 2nd).
• Scooby Doo: Origins – Just recently wrapped at the beginning of September in Atlanta, Georgia. 
• The God of the Woods – Multigenerational mystery starring Maya Hawke and Kerry Condon; filming in New York (runs through September 18th).
• The Granville Girls (Season 1) – Period romance filming in Calgary, Alberta (runs through late September).
• The Night Agent (Season 4) – Final season filming in California (runs through September).
• This Summer Will Be Different – Romance adaptation filming in PEI and Toronto (runs through October 16th).

• Big Mistakes (Season 2) – Comedy filming in Jersey City, NJ (runs through late October).
• Dept. Q (Season 2) – Filming in Edinburgh, Scotland (runs through December).
• Enigma Variations (Working Title: Dolce) – Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson; filming in NJ and Italy (runs through November 6th).
• Finding Her Edge (Season 2) – Canadian drama filming in Ontario (runs through December 14th).
• God Mode (Formerly Thumblite) – Filming in California (ongoing through the Fall).
• My Life with the Walter Boys (Season 4) – Filming in Calgary, Alberta (runs through November 20th).
• Solo Leveling – A live-action Korean action-fantasy series based on the hit web novel, following the world’s weakest hunter who gains an overwhelming ability to level up and fight his way to the top. Written and directed by Byung-seo Kim and Hae-jun Lee, the series stars Woo-seok Byeon as Sung Jin-woo, alongside So-hee Han, Ji-hoon Jung, and Sung-min Lee. Filming in South Korea (Ongoing through early November)

• Tales of the Unexpected / Untitled Roald Dahl Netflix Series – A deliciously twisted series adaptation of Roald Dahl’s iconic short stories for adults, following a young couple marooned in a faded seaside town who must face con men, adulterers, murderous mothers, and snake charmers to escape before their fate is sealed. Written and executive produced by Daniel Brocklehurst, the star-studded ensemble cast features Nicola Coughlan, Carmen Ejogo, Toby Jones, Clarke Peters, Naomi Scott, Imelda Staunton, and Dominic West. Filming in Manchester and throughout England (Ongoing through mid-December).
• The Roman (Working Title: Vegas) – Starring Oscar Isaac and Alec Baldwin; filming in Brooklyn, NY and Las Vegas, Nevada (runs through December 15th).
• Wednesday (Season 3) – Filming in County Wicklow, Ireland (ongoing through the Fall).

Starting Production This Fall (September – December Starts)

• A Man on the Inside (Season 3) – Returning for its third season, this comedy-mystery series from creator Michael Schur features Ted Danson, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, and Mary Steenburgen. Filming in Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA (September 21st through November 2nd).
• Feral – A survival drama series following five wealthy women whose exclusive South American wilderness adventure turns into a desperate fight for survival when disaster leaves them stranded. Directed by Emma Freeman and starring Jessica Gunning. Filming in the Gold Coast, Australia (October through February 2027).
• How to Kill Your Family – Drama series with Anya Taylor-Joy and Clive Owen. Filming in London, UK (Mid-October start and expected to run through February 2027).
• Icebreaker – A romance series following Anastasia Allen, a competitive college figure skater aiming for Team USA who is forced to share a rink with the hockey team and its captain, Nate Hawkins. When her skating partner’s future becomes uncertain, she must team up with Nate, leading to unexpected sparks. Showrun by Amanda Lasher and directed by Michael Fimognari. Filming in Vancouver, BC (October 19th through March 5th, 2027).
• Pagans –  A supernatural psychological thriller following a widowed father whose strained relationship with his unusual daughter evolves into something sinister. Created by Josh Zetumer and executive produced by Drew Goddard, the series stars Steven Yeun. Filming in New York, NY (November 30th through May 13th, 2027).
• Project Marion – Slated to begin in Albuquerque, NM toward the end of the year.
• Running Point (Season 3) – A sports comedy-drama series co-created by Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, Elaine Ko, and showrunner David Stassen; the ensemble cast also includes Brenda Song, Drew Tarver, and Scott MacArthur. Filming in Los Angeles, CA (September 14th through November 24th).
• The Corrections – Starring Meryl Streep; filming across NYC and NJ (Mid-November through mid-April 2027).
• The Four Seasons (Season 3) – A comedy series following six friends who carry on their tradition of vacationing together. Co-created by and starring Tina Fey, with an ensemble cast featuring Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, and Erika Henningsen. Filming in Newburgh, NY, and Santa Fe, NM (September 9th through December 10th).
• The Retrievals – True-story limited series filming in NYC (Late-September through mid-February 2027).

• The Secret of Secrets – A thriller series adaptation of Dan Brown’s novel, following symbologist Robert Langdon as he races against time and ancient forces to rescue a missing scientist. Showrun by Carlton Cuse, the series stars Morgan Spector as Robert Langdon alongside Rebecca Hall, Cherry Jones, Abbey Lee, and Corey Stoll. Filming in Prague, Czech Republic, and New York, NY (Late August through mid-March 2027).
• Trigger Point – An action crime drama series from A24 following a group of former Tier One Special Forces operators who sell their elite skills to the criminal underworld through a private military contracting firm front, and the FBI agent hunting them down. Showrun by Harrison Query and Tony Tost and directed by Jeremy Saulnier, the series stars Joel Edgerton as Red. Filming across New Jersey, New York, and Virginia (December through April 2027).
• Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black (Season 4) – Returning for its fourth season despite earlier reports that season three would be its last, this drama from creator Tyler Perry continues the saga of a ruthless, backstabbing family behind a beauty brand and an underground trafficking ring. Filming in Atlanta, GA, and Chicago, IL (October 19th through October 30th).
• Untitled Alan Chikin Chow K-Pop Series – A teen drama series from HYBE America following a misfit crew of aspiring pop idol rejects enrolled in an arts academy who team up to form a co-ed band. Starring and executive produced by Alan Chikin Chow; filming in Los Angeles, CA (Mid-October through mid-February 2027).
