Welcome to your comprehensive guide to all the movies and TV shows scheduled to leave Netflix (US) throughout October 2026. As we head into the Halloween season, Netflix is doing some major fall cleaning, meaning you only have a few weeks left to binge some massive licensed titles before they depart.
The first of the month always brings the biggest wave of removals, and October 1st is no exception. If you’re planning your upcoming movie nights, you’ll want to prioritize blockbuster hits like Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, animated favorites like The Boss Baby, and essential classics ranging from Clueless and Fargo to the original Ghostbusters.
It’s also shaping up to be a notoriously brutal month for television fans. Several massive licensed shows that have been long-time staples on the service are currently scheduled to make their exit. Prepare to say goodbye to heavyweight binge-watches like Showtime’s Shameless and Nurse Jackie, alongside teen drama favorites Dawson’s Creek and Gossip Girl. We’ll also see a handful of Netflix Originals depart as their exclusive licensing windows come to a close, including the Finnish crime drama Deadwind.

One of the biggest series that was originally scheduled to leave this October was Seinfeld, but as announced last month, Netflix has renewed the rights for another five years, so it won’t be going anywhere.
