A former senior care facility caregiver in Wisconsin has learned her fate after she was arrested for shoving a 76-year-old patient, who died following complications from her injuries.

Abrianna Clark was found guilty of second-degree reckless homicide and physical abuse of an elder in an Ozaukee County courtroom on Monday, August 31. Following the verdict, Clark, 28, was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison and 10 years of extended supervision.

Clark was arrested following a series of events that took place at Story Point Senior Living in Mequon surrounding the victim’s assault in 2024. According to her criminal complaint viewed by WITI, Clark allegedly spoke to her coworkers about the incident and threatened them to not say anything.

Prosecutors claimed she told her coworkers, “If anybody snitch on me, I’m going to get on that.”

Meanwhile, the complaint said that the victim “appeared to be fearful of Clark” prior to the assault.

Officers with the Mequon Police Department were dispatched to Story Point on November 14, 2024, after they received a report of “physical abuse to an elderly person in the memory care unit,” per the complaint.

Upon their arrival, officers learned that Clark allegedly pushed the victim before she was taken to the hospital for treatment for a broken femur.

The facility director spoke to officers about the incident, and claimed Clark “had pushed (the victim) to the ground” and admitted to doing so afterward. Clark reportedly shoved the victim after the elderly patient “hit her with a ruler, and broke her glasses.”

The staff member claimed that Clark admitted she “pushed her” about five times.

While speaking to police, Clark insisted she “did not push” the victim. Instead, she said that she found the woman on the bathroom floor after she fell on her own.

Clark was initially charged with “physical abuse of elder person — recklessly cause great bodily harm” for the incident, according to court records viewed by Us.
