EXCLUSIVE: Voltage Pictures is handling worldwide distribution rights and kicking off sales at TIFF for the high-concept romantic comedy I Wish I Never Had Sex With Him starring Riverdale and Strangers franchise actress Madelaine Petsch.
Written by Monique Sorgen and based on her book How Long You Should Wait to Have Sex, the movie follows Samantha (Petsch), a fiercely ambitious Nashville magazine editor who has spent her life treating every problem like copy that can be fixed – including her love life.
On the eve of her 30th birthday, a rare night out leads her to Boyd Davenport (Noah Fearnley), handsome, heir to a billionaire family fortune and Nashville’s most eligible bachelor.
After a mysterious shot and a night of flirting with Boyd, Samantha wakes up beside very much the wrong man: Boyd’s best friend. Mortified, she utters one desperate sentence: “I wish I never had sex with him.”
And suddenly, she’s back at the beginning of the night.
Tyler-Marie Evans (Pretty Babies) directed the pic which just entered post-production.
Pic also stars Brett Dier as Marty, Alexis Kemp as Samantha’s quick-witted assistant Lacey. Luke Spencer Roberts stars as Luke, with Lydia Hull, Chase Kim, and Chet Hanks as The Bartender.

Korean production and finance company Aanaxion Studio is produced and financed the film with Ambitious Entertainment, with Bespoke Production Capital providing tax-credit financing. Producers are Kenneth Kim, Bang-Ok Joo, Stacy Kemp Ferrari, Bong-Seob Mun, Ho-Sung Pak, George Furla, Brian Skiba, Jamie R. Thompson, and George Zaloom.
