If you’re looking to make it a Netflix weekend, the streamer’s Top 10 list is filled with exciting streaming options.
The new true-crime docuseries Death of The Pastor’s Wife currently has the top spot, while the sitcom Leanne and final season of Outer Banks also earned spots on the vaunted list. Perhaps you’re intersted in a film? Decider recommends Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young and the musical teen drama Don’t Say Good Luck.
We revealed the top show on Netflix, but you know what series is currently holding down the number two spot? You guessed it… Beauty in Black!
Tyler Perry’s popular drama series has returned for a third season on Netflix. Back in December 2025, it was announced that Season 3 of the Taylor Polidore Williams-led show would be the final installment… but there’s a twist!
Will Beauty in Black be back for Season 4? Here’s everything you need to know.
How Many Episodes Are There of Beauty in Black Season 3?
The third season consists of eight episodes.
Will There Be a Beauty in Black Season 3, Part 2 on Netflix?
Nope. Seasons 1 and 2 each consisted of 16 episodes that were broken down into two parts. That’s not the case for Season 3, which includes eight total episodes.
Will There Be a Beauty in Black Season 4 on Netflix?
Yes! Back in July, Netflix announced that Beauty in Black would be back for a fourth season of drama.
“Beauty in Black is back for Season 4 and the Bellarie family’s story is far from finished,” Tyler Perry told Tudum. “There was so much more I wanted to explore and I’m grateful I get to keep telling this story. To the audience that has been on this ride with us from day one, thank you for watching and sharing it with the world. More episodes are on the way!”
Wait… Wasn’t Beauty in Black Cancelled?
We understand the confusion. As we mentioned above, Netflix previously announced that the third season of Beauty in Black would be the final installment of the series. Thankfully, the streamer reversed course in July 2026, announcing a surprise fourth season after the show delivered a strong second season that spent six weeks in the Global Top 10.
Does Netflix Offer a Free Trial?
Nope. Unfortunately, the streamer isn’t currently offering a free trial.

You can purchase Netflix for $8.99/month. Ad-free monthly options are also available for $19.99 (the Standard plan) or $26.99 (the Premium option).
