Visible Is Offering Unlimited 5G for Under $20 a Month, Home Internet Discounts, and More Back-to-School Deals

Back-to-school season is here, which means plenty of households are looking for ways to cut monthly expenses before the fall bills start piling up. Visible is giving shoppers another place to look, with several limited-time deals that can bring unlimited wireless service down to as little as $19 a month.

Visible is currently offering three deals worth a look:

  • Unlimited 5G service starting at $19 a month for a year
  • 50% off an annual Visible+ Pro plan
  • A member-exclusive discount on home internet.

For anyone already considering a switch to a cheaper wireless provider, these offers make Visible especially interesting heading into the new school year.

Get Unlimited 5G for $19 a Month

The simplest deal is also the easiest one to understand. New Visible customers can save $6 a month for 12 months with promo code SAVE6, dropping the regular $25 Visible plan to just $19 a month.

The promotion applies to all three monthly plans, so the savings aren’t limited to the entry-level option:

  • Visible: $19/month for 12 months, regularly $25
  • Visible+: $29/month for 12 months, regularly $35
  • Visible+ Pro: $39/month for 12 months, regularly $45

Visible says taxes and fees are included in those regular monthly prices, and all three plans include unlimited data, talk, and text on Verizon’s network.

For a student who mostly needs a phone for messaging, streaming music, social media and staying connected while away from home, the $19 plan could be enough. It also includes unlimited mobile hotspot service at speeds up to 5 Mbps, which can come in handy when Wi-Fi isn’t available.

The bigger plans add more perks. Visible+ includes unlimited premium data on Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network and hotspot speeds up to 10 Mbps, while Visible+ Pro increases hotspot speeds to 15 Mbps and adds additional international calling, texting, and travel benefits.

Visible+ Pro Is 50% Off for an Entire Year

Right now, new customers can get one year of Visible+ Pro for $225 with promo code SAVEHALF. That’s 50% off the regular $450 annual price and works out to about $18.75 per month when averaged across the year.

Anyone who knows they want to stick with Visible for the next year can unlock the carrier’s highest-tier plan rather than its entry-level service for roughly $19/mo.

Visible+ Pro includes unlimited premium data on Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network, unlimited hotspot data at speeds up to 15 Mbps, 2GB of data per day while roaming in Mexico and Canada, calling to more than 85 countries, texting to more than 200 countries, and 24 Global Pass days during the annual term. Smartwatch service is also included.

The tradeoff is that you’re paying the full $225 upfront instead of getting a monthly bill. But for families or students trying to lock in a lower wireless cost for the entire school year, paying once could make budgeting easier.

Visible Also Has a Home Internet Deal

Visible is going beyond phone service with a deal for existing members who can get its 5G Home Internet service at their address. The current offer provides two months of 5G Home Internet for $50, with a one-time $50 gateway purchase, when the service is added to a Visible mobile plan. This offer could add a lot of value for students heading back to school who need internet for laptops, tablets, streaming devices, and other connected equipment.

Visible’s home internet service is designed to be self-installed rather than requiring a technician visit, and the company says its 5G home internet can deliver download speeds of up to 200 Mbps, depending on location and network conditions. Availability is address-specific.

There is also a separate option to bundle Visible with Fios Home Internet or Frontier Fiber and receive $15 off the home internet bill each month, although that’s different from Visible’s own 5G Home Internet service.

Which Visible Deal Makes the Most Sense?

For someone who simply wants the lowest monthly phone bill, the $19 Visible plan with code SAVE6 is the obvious starting point. If you want more premium service, the $29 Visible+ plan or $39 Visible+ Pro plan under the same promotion may make more sense.

But the $225 annual Visible+ Pro deal is probably the standout offer of the bunch. At $18.75 per month when averaged over a year, it’s actually cheaper than the $19 entry-level plan while providing substantially more features. The offer does require a $225 payment upfront and is intended for new members.

With the school year getting underway, Visible is worth a look for anyone trying to lower the cost of staying connected. These late summer deals can help savvy users potentially spend less on wireless service this fall. But keep in mind, these are limited-time promotions, and Visible can change or end its offers, so check the company’s site for the latest terms before signing up.
