How Many Episodes Are There In ‘Silo’ Season 3?

Silo is back, and there are plenty more secrets waiting to come out.

Apple TV’s hit sci-fi drama returned for Season 3 on July 3, bringing Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette Nichols back into the mysterious underground world that has kept viewers guessing for two seasons. But this time around, the series is doing something a little different: Along with continuing Juliette’s story in the present, Season 3 goes back centuries to explore the events that helped create the world of Silo.

When we last saw Juliette, she had made it back to Silo 18 after venturing outside and discovering that her home wasn’t the only silo in existence. Her return comes at a particularly messy time, too, with the residents of Silo 18 still dealing with the fallout from the rebellion that erupted while she was gone. And, naturally, Juliette’s return raises more questions than it answers.

Season 3 expands the show’s world even further by introducing a storyline set hundreds of years before the events viewers have been following. That means the new episodes aren’t just about what happens next for Juliette — they’re also digging into how the silos came to exist and what happened to the world outside in the first place.

And if you’re already wondering how much Silo you have left to watch, we have good news: There’s a lot more where that came from.

How Many Episodes Are In Silo Season 3?

There are 10 episodes in Silo Season 3.

Apple TV announced that the third season would premiere with its first episode on Friday, July 3, followed by a new episode every Friday through September 4.

That puts Season 3 on the same 10-episode track as the show’s first two seasons, giving fans several more weeks of Juliette, Silo 18 and the increasingly complicated mystery surrounding the world outside.

Here’s the full Silo Season 3 release schedule:

  • Episode 1 — July 3
  • Episode 2 — July 10
  • Episode 3 — July 17
  • Episode 4 — July 24
  • Episode 5 — July 31
  • Episode 6 — August 7
  • Episode 7 — August 14
  • Episode 8 — August 21
  • Episode 9 — August 28
  • Episode 10 — September 4

So, as of Friday, August 14, seven episodes of Silo Season 3 are available to stream, with three more still to come.

When Do New Episodes Of Silo Season 3 Come Out?

New episodes of Silo Season 3 are released every Friday on Apple TV.

The season began July 3, with the 10th and final episode scheduled to arrive September 4.

In other words, there’s no need to worry about a long wait between episodes. Silo is sticking with its weekly release schedule all the way through the Season 3 finale.

What Is Silo Season 3 About?

Season 3 picks up after the events of Season 2, with Juliette surviving her forced “cleaning” and returning with memory loss as Silo 18 attempts to recover from its rebellion. Unfortunately for everyone involved, a new threat is waiting.

But Juliette’s story isn’t the only one Season 3 has on its plate.

The season also introduces an origin story set centuries before the events of the first two seasons. In the “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that ultimately sets off a chain of catastrophic events.

That means Season 3 is pulling back the curtain on the biggest mystery of Silo: How did this bizarre underground society come to exist in the first place?

Who Stars In Silo Season 3?

Rebecca Ferguson is back as Juliette Nichols, alongside returning cast members including Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash and Alexandria Riley.

Season 3 also expands the cast with Ashley Zukerman and Jessica Henwick, who play Daniel Keene and Helen Drew in the “Before Times” storyline. Colin Hanks is also set to recur, while Steve Zahn returns to the series.

And yes, there are still plenty of familiar faces from Silo 18 along for the ride.
