We have our first look behind the scenes of Netflix’s upcoming ice hockey drama series The Sticks, which will premiere sometime in 2027. With filming currently underway, Netflix has rounded out the full cast for the series. Here’s everything we know so far about The Sticks on Netflix.
The Sticks is an upcoming Netflix Original drama series produced by 21 Laps Entertainment, with Bridger Bedard as showrunner and executive producer, and Nick Naveda as creator and executive producer. Shawn Levy, Dan Levine, and Robert Atwood also serve as executive producers for 21 Laps.
Nick Naveda shared the following about the series with Netflix:
“THE STICKS is about a lot of things. Hockey, family, love, loss, class, and coming of all ages. But above all, it’s a story about community and the importance of taking care of one another. Seeing this terrific cast of actors bring their characters to life with such curiosity, empathy and tenderness has been incredibly moving to watch, and I can’t wait for the world to meet the people of South Dorothy.”
