Not long after LaTrice “Lala” Verrett won the Head of Household Wall competition (becoming the oldest person ever to do so on a regular season of Big Brother), she set her sights on getting Haley “I’ve Had a Bad 4 Weeks” Thogmartin out of the house.
She nominated Chuk “Mr. Invisible” Anyanwu and Barrett “Always Shirtless” Pfeiffer alongside Haley, and was considering Drew “What’s Popping” Campbell as a replacement nominee, should the Power of Veto be used. Kamu Kirk!
This is the MMA fighter’s second big win after claiming the HOH key in the third week, which led to Jason De Puy’s eviction.
Even though Kamu, Haley, and Chuk are in the Red Corner alliance (along with Survivor legends Dee Valladares and Rick Devens), Kamu has hinted that he won’t be using the Veto to save either of his allies.
Late last night, Chuk and Haley were blowing off steam about Kamu, feeling like they’re the only two still trying to keep their alliance together. Haley said she was crying in the Have-Not room when Kamu came in and refused to talk to her. Chuk wants to keep working his cowboy magic on Kamu, but he’s running out of time, as the Veto ceremony will take place Monday afternoon.
When Chuk said they shouldn’t have trusted Devens and Dee because of their history of lying on Survivor, Haley sighed, “To be honest, I truly didn’t think people would actually lie this bad. I have said more times than not, I have ‘idiot’ across my forehead. I really did not know how to play this game.”
With Kamu likely to lose an ally on Thursday night, he was seen trying to create a new four-person alliance with Devens, Yash Patel, and Taylor Brown — talk about random! Time will tell if this group has legs or if it’s just another fake alliance.
