Lionsgate Studios CEO Jon Feltheimer’s pay package rose to $19.37 million for the company’s 2026 fiscal year ended in March from $9.82 million the year before.
That breaks down to a $1.5 million salary, a $6.5 million bonus, and stock awards valued at $10.68 million, according to an annual proxy statement filed with the SEC Tuesday. In April, Lionsgate renewed the CEO’s contract through 2031.
Proxies list the salaries of a public company’s top five highest paid executive officers.
Vice chair Michael Burns saw compensation ease to $4.66 million from $7.72 million. The other execs include CFO James Barge ($6.29 million total); COO Brian Goldsmith ($5.23 million); and EVP, General Counsel Bruce Tobay ($4.49 million).
The proxy noted that Feltheimer’s compensation was “significantly higher” because it included the equity portion of his fiscal 2025 annual incentive bonus, which had a grant date fair value of about $4.4 million. The $6.5 million cash bonus was up from $1.5 million the year before.
Accomplishments the proxy noted for FY26 include the separation of Lionsgate and Starz along with motion pictures group momentum (The Housemaid, Now You See Me, Now You Don’t, Michael), television series renewals and improved financial metrics.
The company report its first quarter FY27 earnings August 6. It set its annual meeting of shareholders for Sept. 15.
