Another explosive fight incoming on Next Gen NYC!
Season 2 of the hit reality series has already delivered many chaotic moments. If you want to see Georgia McCann informing Emira D’Spain of rumors she heard through her “gay grapevine”—which is still not fully resolved!—or even Charlie Zakkour continuing to be an absolute menace (plus not to mention his mysterious involvement in the crypto torture scandal), now is your time to catch up before tonight’s new episode.
The rest of the season also promises more updates in Ariana Biermann‘s single era. Biermann has spent the first episodes of the newest season exploring her new life in New York City without her ex-boyfriend Hudson McLeroy, whom she dated for nearly a decade.
DECIDER’s exclusive clip from tonight’s episode features Biermann and Shai Fruchter sharing a tense moment over new cast member Liam Obergfoll, who isn’t exactly hiding his affections towards Biermann.
When Biermann becomes frustrated with McLeroy being a topic of conversation, Fruchter states, “I don’t want to talk about your ex-boyfriend, either.”
Biermann has come with receipts, asking, “But that’s how you guys started the night, is it not? You and Charlie?”
Fruchter clarifies he’s trying to navigate the situation in a way that is respectful to his friendships with both Biermann and McLeroy. He believes Obergfoll is stepping in “glue” by getting close to Biermann.
Obergfoll interjects, “I’m not stepping in glue. Stepping in glue would be if they were still together. That’s expired glue.”
After that diss, Fruchter only gets more defensive and doesn’t see why Biermann feels he “inserted” himself into the breakup.
Fruchter only makes things worse when he explains that he told McLeroy that Obergfoll is romantically interested in Biermann.
Biermann shuts down his ignorance, “That’s kind of a fuck you to me.”
She adds, “If you’re my friend, why would you go about my business and bring it back to my ex-boyfriend?”
Just when you think Fruchter will drop the subject, he only digs himself into a deeper hole. He mentions that he spoke to Rowan Henchy and Ava Dash who encouraged him to speak with McLeroy. The clip then cuts to a flashback, where Henchy and Dash both tell him to directly speak about it with Biermann before doing anything. The cameras never lie!
Biermann won’t let Fruchter get to her, saying in her confessional, “I can’t. I can’t. Rowan’s my girl. I know she didn’t say that.”
Fruchter gets caught in the lie, and can’t hide the flustered look off his face. Even Zakkour can sense his embarrassment
“Shai’s face is, like, so shook,” Zakkour says. “It looks like he, just like, stormed Normandy.”
Let’s see if Fruchter will follow up with an apology on tonight’s episode of Next Gen NYC, which airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Next-day streaming is available on Peacock.
