Eighteen years after the original film and 16 years after Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, summer is back in session with the hotly anticipated Camp Rock 3. Directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Fay, Connect 3 (Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas) return to their beloved Camp Rock after losing their opening act for a major reunion tour as they hope to discover the next big thing.
Per the official synopsis, “As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested — leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances.”
Rumors of a third film were reignited last summer when Lovato reunited with the Jonas Brothers at the opening night of their “Greetings From Your Hometown Tour” to sing “This Is Me” from the first Camp Rock and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” from the second film. Lovato, who memorably starred as Mitchie Torres in the first two films, isn’t in the cast of Camp Rock 3, but she is an executive producer on the film.

Is Demi Lovato In Camp Rock 3?
That’s the question everyone’s asking. What’s Camp Rock without Mitchie? As we mentioned above, Demi Lovato is an executive producer on the film, but the prolific performer isn’t included in the cast of Camp Rock 3.
During a March 2026 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Lovato was asked by guest host Andy Cohen if we’d be seeing her in Camp Rock 3. Her response? “You’ll just have to wait and see.”
Again, there’s no official information, but based on Lovato’s answer, her involvement in the film as an EP, and the fact that old footage of the character of Mitchie is shown in the trailer ( with the voiceover saying “legends are made here” no less), we strongly suspect that Lovato will make a cameo appearance in the film.
