This year, AMC relaunched the gothic horror series Interview with the Vampire as The Vampire Lestat for its rocking third season.
Based on the second novel of the same name from Anne Rice‘s The Vampire Chronicles book series, The Vampire Lestat revolves around the centuries-old French vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) on tour with his titular rock band. As the group’s popularity grows throughout their travels, so does Lestat’s influence as he’s forced to confront both his past and his sense of self.

Will There Be A The Vampire Lestat Episode 8?
Technically, no, there will not be an eighth episode of The Vampire Lestat. The season will end with its seventh episode.
However, there is an unofficial additional 33-minute episode listed as Episode 8: “After The Failures,” in which host Lizzie Bassett talks to Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Delainey Hayles, Mark Johnson, Rolin Jones, and Hannah Moscovitch about the season finale.
When Does The Vampire Lestat Season Finale Air on AMC and AMC+?
The season finale of The Vampire Lestat (Episode 7, “The Failures”) is currently available for streaming on AMC+ and will also air tonight, July 19, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
Will There Be A The Vampire Lestat Season 2?
Sort of, maybe? The Vampire Lestat is the third season of Interview with the Vampire and will likely remain its own contained story within the overall series. As of right now, Interview with the Vampire has not been confirmed for a Season 4, but the series certainly seems to point in the direction of more to come.
Whether the show will return to the original Interview with the Vampire title or rebrand to match a different book from The Vampire Chronicles is not yet known.
