Northwoods Theater Group is opening a new venue, Emagine Parker, in Parker, Colorado, filling a year-long gap with no theater in the area.
Set to open this week on Wednesday, the theater (located 30 minutes outside of Denver) has ten auditoriums and marks the family-owned chain’s first in Colorado. “The completely reimagined 32,000-square-foot entertainment destination features luxury heated recliners, premium large-format EMX auditoriums, immersive Dolby Atmos sound, 4K projection, expanded food and beverage offerings, a full-service bar, and the company’s first self-ordering guest experience,” according to an official statement.
“Opening our first Colorado location is an incredibly exciting moment for our entire organization,” Northwoods Theater Group owner Jon Goldstein said in a statement. “From the beginning, our goal was to create something Parker didn’t already have: a completely reimagined entertainment destination that brings together premium movie experiences, great food and drinks, innovative technology, and an atmosphere designed to bring people together. We’re proud of what we’ve built and excited to finally welcome the community inside.”
Opening week films will include “Toy Story 5,” “Minions & Monsters,” “Supergirl,” “Disclosure Day” and “Jackass: Best and Last.”
