Gia Giudice Teases ‘Different Energy’ on RHONJ Season 15

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 15 is a lot less tense, according to Gia Giudice.

“It’s been so fun,” Gia, 25, exclusively told Us Weekly of the latest season’s vibes last month. “I filmed a little bit last week, and it’s great. I mean, just the energy in the room, and just the feeling of everything is so different, especially now that everyone is good, and we’re not fighting anymore. .. It’s just such a different energy and vibe going into it, which I think is making it a lot more fun. It’s honestly beautiful to see. … It’s like a breath of fresh air.”

During 2024’s RHONJ season 14, Gia was pulled into mom Teresa Giudice’s feud with Rachel and John Fuda, after Teresa, 54, publicly called John, 39, “the biggest drug dealer in Bergen County.” (John admitted to selling marijuana when he was 17 years old.)

“I was younger than her daughter Gia is, right? And I know in the past, I guess Jackie [Goldschneider] has accused Gia or made an allegation … that got spun out of control,” John said during an episode, referring to a 2021 clash between Jackie, 49, and Teresa where the latter accused the former of spreading rumors that her husband, Evan Goldschneider, might be cheating. Jackie asked Teresa at the time how she would feel if a similar unsubstantiated rumor was made about Gia.

Teresa was not happy to hear John bring up Gia’s name.

“I mean, why is John talking about my daughter?” she asked. “Next time I see him, I’m gonna be like, ‘Take my daughter’s name out of your mouth.’ He can go f*** himself, now.”

Gia also responded to John’s analogy, telling producers, “Don’t use my name in an analogy. Jackie, Fuda, I don’t care who you are. Mention your own kids’ name.”

The season 14 reunion was notably canceled due to a strong divide among the cast members, including Teresa and Melissa Gorga. The pair privately reconciled at the end of 2025.

Gia also previously clashed with her uncle, Joe Gorga, during season 12. She exclusively told Us at BravoCon 2025 last year that she’s ready to “rebuild” their relationship.

Beyond the drama between the cast members being resolved, Gia told Us last month that it has been “fun to see” RHONJ’s newbies “try hard.”

While the full cast of season 15 has yet to be announced, Bravo has shared that six newcomers are joining the show. Xiomara Laracuente, Juliette Collazo, Natia Rufolo, Vanessa Barrera, Deeba Patel and Malvina Blloshmi are rumored to be involved. Meanwhile, Teresa, Melissa and Dolores Catania are confirmed to be returning.

Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has grown up before Bravo fans’ eyes. Gia was 8 years old when Real Housewives of New Jersey, which also featured her sisters Gabriella (born 2004) and Milania (2005), filmed season 1. At the first reunion, fans learned Teresa was pregnant with her fourth baby girl. […]

Ahead of the new season, a source close to production exclusively told Us how the new cast members are settling in.

“There was so much drama the last few years that producers want the OG cast to settle in with the new cast,” the insider shared. “It has been far less toxic than previous seasons.”

The source added, “Melissa, Dolores and Teresa are being very nice and welcoming to the new ladies.”

Gia also chatted with Us about Next Gen NYC season 2, which premieres on June 24. The reality star shared that she approached this season differently than season 1.

“Just more with an open mind,” Gia said. “I was really excited to just dive deeper into my life, so I think I just approached it with my guard a little more down than I did season 1.”

The new season will follow Gia as she navigates newfound independence after moving out of her parents’ home and into her own apartment.

“I think you find Gia finding herself, honestly, and basically kind of coming to the terms that it’s OK to leave home, and that my family will be OK without me,” she shared. “I think that was a big pill for me to swallow. It wasn’t that I couldn’t move out, I could, and I had the means to. It’s never really a rush in Italian culture to move out of your parents’ house, so that was for starters, and then two, I just was so comfortable being there for my family. I am a person that my family relies heavily on, so it was just a little nerve-wracking for me to leave the house, but … it’s pretty amazing.”

Next Gen NYC season 2 premieres on Wednesday, June 24, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
