Olivia Wilde Reacts to Photo Looking “Sick,” Like “Dead Body” on Red Carpet

Don’t worry, darling, Olivia Wilde is doing just fine.

The Invite director addressed speculation about her health after a red carpet photo of her from the San Francisco International Film Festival went viral in April. For Wilde, it was “insane” to see social media users claim, as she put it, that she was “looking like an actual dead body.”

“We did the [red carpet], and then I saw that picture and I was like, ‘Alright, but it probably won’t go very far. No one’s going to see this,'” Wilde said on the June 17 episode of Call Her Daddy. “And then suddenly it was f–king everywhere. And I was like, ‘Oh, my God.'”

The 42-year-old recalled people saying “she’s definitely sick” and “she’s dying,” even adding, “People were diagnosing me with Graves’ disease,” an autoimmune disorder that can lead to weight loss.

In the moment, the Don’t Worry Darling actress found the entire mixup “undeniably hilarious,” but clarified the image was simply taken from a bad angle.
