The days of kicking back and relaxing with an episode of Gilmore Girls on Netflix are coming to an end.
That’s right, the streamer took to X to announce the series is leaving the service at the end of the month: “We are sorry to say that Gilmore Girls Season 1-7 will be leaving Netflix in the US on June 30. Raising a cup of coffee to every fan who visited Stars Hollow with us.”
Originally airing from 2000 to 2007 on The WB and CW, the series chronicled the lives of a mother and daughter, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel), as they grew up together in Stars Hollow, Connecticut. As the beloved drama leaves the service, audiences will be forced to find a new place to watch the cozy comfort show.

If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu. Is Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life leaving Netflix?
What about the 2016 limited series that continues the story of Lorelai and Rory?
Unfortunately, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will also be leaving Netflix at the end of the year. Although the series is technically a Netflix original, the Gilmore Girls IP is owned by Warner Bros, making the show a co-production between the two. Since Netflix did not renew its streaming license for Gilmore Girls, the series will be leaving the streamer on November 25.
Is Gilmore Girls on HBO Max?
As of now, the show isn’t streaming on HBO Max in the United States. As we mentioned above, the series was produced by Warner Bros, so a move to HBO Max could definitely happen in the future. For now, the series is only streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
Gilmore Girls exits Netflix in the US on June 30.
