The Top 10 Movies On Netflix That Are Most Popular Right Now

Netflix is home to an enviable library of movies. From horror, to comedy, to romance, and everything in between, the streamer has all that we could want and more. Each week, Netflix releases a roundup of the most popular 10 films on the streaming service that are getting the most love from subscribers.

Currently, Netflix’s true-crime documentary The Crash continues to hold the No. 1 spot on this week’s list, followed by the 2007 crime thriller Cleaner and the star-studded animated movie GOAT.

Below, you’ll find the list of top movies on Netflix right now, which we’ll be updating weekly with information about each title and links to our reviews, letting you know which titles to stream and which ones you can probably skip.

    Jennifer Lopez plays airline executive Jackie Cruz and Brett Goldstein plays lawyer Daniel Blanchflower lead this NSFW rom-com, which sees the two spark a relationship despite working together.

    In this animated kids comedy, Will Harris (played by Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin) is a small goat with big dreams of playing roarball, an intense form of basketball played by the biggest and strongest in the animal kingdom. But he thinks his size will hold him back from joining the big leagues, until a chance encounter lands him a spot on the Thorns, a team which is in desperate need of some help to win The Claw. This star-studded movie features some of the biggest names in Hollywood and basketball alike; Steph Curry produced and starred in this movie, alongside actors Gabrielle Union, Jenifer Lewis, Aaron Pierre, David Harbour and more.

    Hailing from Angel Studios, this animated musical take on the biblical story of David and Goliath feaures the voices of Phil Wickham, Lauren Daigle, Kamran Nikhad, Brandon Engman, Miri Mesika, and Asim Chaudhry.

    Netflix dives into a tragically true case in The Crash. When she was 17 years old, Mackenzie Shirilla crashed her car into a brick building, resulting in the deaths of Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. In 2023, a judge determined the car crash was premeditated and Mackenzie was found guilty on two counts of murder. This true crime doc, directed by Gareth Johnson, features a jailhouse interview with Mackenzie herself and input from her parents.

  5. Bee Movie

    Jerry Seinfeld stars in Bee Movie, an animated film from 2007 about a worker bee who becomes disillusioned with the one job prospect he has: making honey. After he begins developing a relationship with a human florist named Vanessa, he sues humans for stealing bee nectar. Starring a stellar cast that includes Renée Zellweger and Matthew Broderick, this flick has become a cult classic of sorts due to its bizarre romance. But now you can see it for yourself on Netflix.

    This 2016 sci-fi romance stars Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt as two passengers (hence the title) aboard a spaceship, who wake up 90 years too early in their sleeping pod while en route to a new colony.

    This new documentary explores the 1992 murder of Rachel Nickell, which was eventually solved in 2008. Nickell was tragically murdered in broad daylight while talking a walk through London’s Wimbledon Common with her dog and her two-year-old son, Alex, who ultimately became the only witness to the crime. The case also inspired the new Netflix limited series, The Witness.

    The latest addition to the Creed film series was released in 2023, which sees Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis Creed take on Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors), a former friend and fellow boxer, in the ring.

    Michael B. Jordan leads this extension of the Rocky franchise as Adonis Creed, the son of boxing champion Apollo Creed. The film from Ryan Coogler, which hit theaters in 2015, spawned two sequels: Creed II (2018) and Creed III (2023).

  10. Pierce Brosnan in 'Fast Charlie'

    Pierce Brosnan stars as hitman Charlie Swift, the accomplice to mob boss Stan Mullen (played by James Caan) in this 2023 action thriller. Charlie sets out to avenge Stan after a rival mobster kills him. The film also features the likes of Morena Baccarin, Morgan Freeman, and Sharon Stone.
