Is Liz McGraw getting the villain edit in The Real Housewives of Rhode Island? The self-proclaimed Rhode Island Queen of Cannabis has landed herself in hot water following a blowout argument with Alicia Carmody, followed by an even bigger tiff with Jo-Ellen Tiberi.
In last week’s episode of RHORI, McGraw had it out with Carmody in the car ride to Rosie DiMare‘s husband’s show—he’s a Frank Sinatra singer, not impersonator—over Carmody’s claim that she was homeless as a child. Per Carmody, when her father sold their family house and walked out on her and her mother, they were left homeless. However, McGraw, who has known Carmody her entire life, argued that her longtime friend was never actually homeless because she was able to move in with her grandmother after her father sold the house.
Because Tiberi had previously agreed that Carmody’s definition of “homeless” didn’t exactly fit the meaning we all think of, McGraw felt that she was flip-flopping by defending Carmody in the car. When things picked up this week, tension was in the air at Rich DiMare’s show, and with McGraw unwilling to put on a happy face following the disagreement, things between her and Tiberi quickly went south.
When McGraw went outside for a cigarette, she was followed by Tiberi, who tried to reason with her by explaining why Carmody was hurt in the moment. But McGraw doubled down on her stance that Carmody was never homeless, getting right up in Tiberi’s face to make her point loud and clear. In somewhat of an erratic fashion, McGraw then warned Tiberi, who maintained composure and did not stand down, to “get out of [her] fucking face.”
When they went back inside, an emotional Tiberi continued to prod McGraw about her “nasty” and “mean” behavior. McGraw then appeared to tug on a piece of Tiberi’s hair, prompting the latter to threaten to “punch” her in the face. When Tiberi turned around to continue watching the show, McGraw aggressively pushed her chair away, as she called Tiberi a “fucking piece of shit.”
Tiberi ultimately got up and left the event, but it was only the start of her feud with McGraw.

When the duo met up at the end of the episode, McGraw bizarrely denied any wrongdoing—as if the entire situation wasn’t captured on camera. She called Tiberi a “freak” and referred to her as “the devil” for claiming she pulled her hair at Rich’s show. “I didn’t pull your hair and you know it,” McGraw curtly insisted. When confronted about the way she pushed Tiberi’s chair, she merely responded, “There’s something so fucked up about you,” before accusing her co-star of attempting to assassinate her character.
“The minute she said I put my hands on her, I knew right there, we’re not here to reconcile. We’re here to fucking battle,” McGraw said in her confessional. “I don’t believe I put my hands on her in any kind of way except maybe to get her chair away from me. There’s a difference.”
Again, both moments were caught on camera. So, it seems that McGraw is going to have some explaining to do at the reunion! After all, there’s a reason why she’s first chair.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
