The fourth season of Fire Country is officially in the books, so, spoiler, there’s no new episode tonight (May 29) on CBS. The network is reairing the Season 4 episode “Happy First Day, Manny” at 9:00 p.m. ET, along with repeats of Sheriff Country and Boston Blue at 8:00 p.m. ET and 10:00 p.m. ET, respectively.
Season 4 is in the books, so what does the future hold for Fire Country? Thankfully, all three of the aforementioned shows have been renewed for new seasons. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the previous two installments of Fire Country consisted of 20-episode seasons, while the show’s upcoming fifth season will reportedly consist of only 13 episodes.

When Does The Next Episode of Fire Country Air on CBS?
Fire Country is on CBS’ fall schedule, so we expect the fifth season to debut in October of 2026 on CBS.

Unfortunately, as we mentioned above, the renewal for Fire Country comes with a reduced order. The show will reportedly have a 13-episode fifth season — down from the 20-episode third and fourth seasons.
