It’s going to be a painful month for Netflix Original removals this June. From a beloved DreamWorks animated series to the modern revival of an iconic teen drama franchise, here’s your complete rundown of every Netflix Original currently scheduled to depart the streamer globally in June 2026.
As we’ve covered extensively over the years, the “Netflix Original” branding doesn’t necessarily mean a show or movie is immune to the chopping block. Netflix often acquires exclusive international streaming rights for titles for a fixed period (usually anywhere between 3 and 10 years). Once those licensing agreements run their course, the titles leave the platform—even if they carry the red “N”.
If you’re wondering what else is leaving the platform this month, you can check out our comprehensive guide to everything leaving Netflix in June 2026 here.
Of course, Netflix Originals is nothing new. While Netflix does own much of its library outright, that’s not the case for everything, which is rather just exclusively licensed (more on the reasons why Netflix Originals are pulled here). Hundreds of Originals have already been removed, with 100 titles set for departure this year alone.
Now, let’s take a look at the biggest Netflix Originals leaving in June, followed by the full chronological list of departures.
Highlights: What to Watch Before They Leave
Degrassi: Next Class (Seasons 1-4)
Leaving Netflix: June 30th
It’s been a decade since Degrassi: Next Class first premiered in 2016, stepping in to save the iconic Canadian franchise after The Next Generation came to an end. Picking up with a new generation of Degrassi Community School students, the show ran for four seasons and 40 episodes. Because Netflix didn’t produce the show in-house (it was produced by WildBrain/Epitome), the global streaming rights are officially up, making this a massive comfort-watch loss for teen drama fans.
Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (Seasons 1-3)
Leaving Netflix: June 26th
Picture: DreamWorks Television
It’s been a tough time for Netflix Original animation removals recently, with She-Ra and the Princesses of Power notably being pulled from the service back in December. Created by Radford Sechrist and developed by Bill Wolkoff, this DreamWorks Animation series debuted in 2020 and quickly built a passionate cult following thanks to its vibrant post-apocalyptic world, phenomenal soundtrack, and diverse cast of characters. All three seasons (comprising 30 episodes) will be departing at the end of the month unless a last-minute deal can be reached although given that DreamWorks titles haven’t had that treatment thus far, we don’t expect the same to happen here.
Silver Skates (2020)
Leaving Netflix: June 16th
Set in the wintry wonderland of 1899 St. Petersburg, this Russian historical romantic adventure follows a petty thief on ice skates who wins the heart of an aristocrat’s daughter. It’s a visually stunning epic that served as Russia’s very first feature-length Netflix Original film and one of the last given Netflix has completely pulled out of the region.
The Perfect Mother (Limited Series)
Leaving Netflix: June 3rd
If you’re a fan of gripping European crime thrillers, you only have a few days left to binge The Perfect Mother (Une mère parfaite). This French co-production follows a devoted mother who uncovers unsettling truths while trying to prove her daughter’s innocence in a homicide case.
