Real Housewives of Rhode Island star Rosie DiMare has it all — the house, the husband, and the career. As someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions, deliver a shady confessional, and knows how to keep the story moving, she’s also nailed down the perfect formula in becoming a Real Housewife. That being said, DiMare pulled out all of the stops in her jaw-dropping argument with Kelsey Swanson in this week’s episode of RHORI, not only thrusting the term “slam pig” into cultural significance, but also cementing herself as one of the show’s most unapologetically chaotic breakout stars.
In Sunday night’s (May 17) episode of Bravo’s latest Real Housewives franchise, DiMare hits her breaking point as her feud with Swanson reaches new levels of mayhem, threatening to undermine any hope of reconciliation between the two Housewives.
“This has been a long time of just being discredited, constantly hearing these girls try to spread rumors about me or my husband,” DiMare told DECIDER last week. “It’s like nothing I do is good enough. Everything I do, there’s a crazy reaction.”
DiMare’s friendship with Swanson was soured from the premiere episode when she questioned the latter’s unconventional relationship with a wealthy, older man who had other girlfriends in different parts of the country. Swanson retaliated by complaining of DiMare’s failure to promote her glam services on Instagram, before accusing the former news reporter of exaggerating the square footage of her house.
While they seemed to make amends in last week’s episode, they ended up back at square one when Swanson showed up to DiMare’s house with a police siren and a loudspeaker, on which she once again shaded the size of DiMare’s home.

“I don’t know why she thought that this was a moment to joke or to go back to poking me,” DiMare said. “If we were really going to build a friendship, wouldn’t you come and be nice to me while I’m literally setting this up so that you can cut my hair again and I’ll post it all over the internet? You would think she would be excited for that. Instead, it’s like, ‘Oh, I’m going to jab her again. I’m so funny.’ Maybe don’t become a comedian. Read the room.”
The argument that followed was one for the Bravo history books. DiMare got in Swanson’s face, putting her on blast for judging the size of her home when she had just moved into an apartment that was still being paid for by her ex-boyfriend. The television host also accused Swanson of sleeping with married men, and claimed her ex had paid off the judges for her Miss Rhode Island win — rumors that DiMare doubled down on when she caught up with DECIDER.
“Usually, I don’t say things that I can’t confirm. I like to have my documents in a row,” she said. “I have heard all of those things. Her family members have said some of these things. I wasn’t going to ever say them because it’s not my business. It’s not my problem. I know she thinks I have some large notes app on her, which she wishes. She’s never been in my phone. But I think that when you get pushed to a certain point, you’re just going to say whatever you want. And that’s what I did.”

With the reunion taping in the near future, DiMare promised to bring “plenty” of receipts. “I have some things up my sleeve I’ll be showing,” she teased.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
