It’s a good weekend to be a TV fan. Streamers like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and more are dropping some seriously must-see TV this weekend.
Watch With Us is still mourning the passing of Yellowstone, which is why we’re pumped to see original series stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser return in Paramount+’s Dutton Ranch.
If that’s not enough drama for you, return to the ’80s when huge shoulder pads and bad behavior ruled by watching Disney+’s Rivals season 2.
Netflix might be costly to subscribe to, but it’s worth it to stream shows like a new Money Heist spinoff, Pop Culture Jeopardy!, and the spy show Legends.
‘Dutton Ranch’ Season 1 — Paramount+

Yellowstone fans are in for a treat because some of their favorite characters are returning in a brand-new show that promises to be just as dramatic as that Kevin Costner hit. Dutton Ranch sees returning stars Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their fan-favorite roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, who both abandon their Montana home for a new life in Rio Paloma, Texas.
That doesn’t mean they’re leaving behind all the intrigue and drama that made them Yellowstone’s most popular characters, though. In fact, they encounter more trouble in their new Lone Star State home thanks to their clash with Beulah Jackson (Annette Bening), a successful “grizzly in Gucci” ranch owner who doesn’t like competition or Beth. With new characters like Beulah’s wayward son Rob-Will (Jai Courtney) to contend with, as well as Yellowstone vets like Carter (Finn Little), Dutton Ranch promises to be one of the summer’s entertaining shows.
‘Rivals’ Season 2 — Disney+
One of 2024’s surprise hits was Rivals, an ‘80s-set British soap that stars Doctor Who’s David Tennant as media tycoon Lord Baddingham, who, if you can’t tell by his surname, is up to no good. He’s fighting over a small-town TV station that’s owned by rival Rupert Campbell-Black (Alex Hassell), while also indulging in affairs that could jeopardize his plans.
Season 2 promises more hairspray and intrigue, as Baddingham recovers from his season-ending physical assault from former lover Cameron Cook (Nafessa Williams). Angrier than ever, Baddingham aims to take down all of his rivals, even if he has to sacrifice a few of his allies to do so. Season 2 ups the episode count from 8 to 12, with the first six airing this summer and the latter six airing sometime later in the year.
‘Money Heist: Berlin and the Lady With an Ermine’ Season 1 — Netflix
Netflix is debuting not one but two heist shows this weekend, but your best bet is watching this Money Heist spinoff. In Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, Berlin (Pedro Alonso) hasn’t yet moved to Paris and staged masterful robberies with an eclectic group of criminals. He’s still a thief, though, and this younger version has lofty ambitions, like stealing Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, “The Lady with an Ermine.”
He can’t do that alone, which is why this series features some familiar faces, like Michelle Jenner’s Kelia, as well as new additions like Inma Cuesta’s Candela. Even with a crew to help him, Belin will have his work cut out for him to steal one of history’s most famous paintings without anyone noticing. Money Heist: Berlin and the Lady With an Ermine consists of eight episodes, which are all available to stream right now.
‘Legends’ — Netflix
The war on drugs takes center stage in Legends, a fact-based series that’s already one of Netflix’s most-watched shows. Furiosa’s Tom Burke stars as Guy Stanton, a British paper-pusher who wants his life to mean something. That’s why he volunteers to be a legend, a secret agent working for Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise to go deep undercover in a drug-smuggling crime ring operating in Britain and Turkey. Several others join him, and they’re tasked with stopping one of their country’s most notorious crime syndicates of the ‘90s.
If you like true-crime stories involving ordinary citizens doing extraordinary — and dangerous — things, Legends is for you. The six-episode series avoids sensationalizing its subject matter in favor of a realistic portrayal of the often arduous process of undercover work. The excellent cast includes comedy veteran Steve Coogan in a very serious role and Beau is Afraid’s Hayley Squires as a fellow recruit.
‘Pop Culture Jeopardy!’ Season 2 — Netflix
How well do you know the Kardashians? Are you an expert on all things Grey’s Anatomy? If the answer to both questions is yes, you need to touch some grass. No, I’m just kidding. But you should consider watching the current season of Pop Culture Jeopardy! on Netflix. It will help you justify all those hours of screen time your Apple devices keep shaming you about every week.
Once again hosted by SNL Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost, this spinoff of the legendary game show deals exclusively in all things pop culture. That means questions about movies, TV shows, pop stars, influencers and, yes, even annoying social media memes like “6-7.” Jost is an affable host, and the categories, like “AI Slop Gave Me Brain Rot,” are fun to play along with. Would Alex Trebek approve? My psychic Matthew says he would.
